HR-V means Highly Rated Vehicle
The HR-V can be considered in a Highly Rated Vehicle survey of 2018 cars. Honda has finally added some stylishness to it's design with a small crossover SUV that does not look strictly for suburban housewives. Honda has consistently come in near the top of most Car of the Year surveys, but, IMHO have lacked some "ZIP!" in the styling of their cars. This year the Civic outdoes the Accord in looks and the HR-V outdoes the other SUV's a little bigger to biggest SUV's. The HR-V is a terrific commuter car with very good mileage and enough room to pack a few items , like a child or two. Not quite as roomy as The Honda Element, but then again The Element is not as stylish, so the comparison is a wash. All in all another solid addition to the Honda line which has become the standard for which most if not all , well rounded (reliability, MPG's, performance etc) vehicles are based. The South Korean car manufacturers continue to make runs at Honda, but have not yet consistently overtaken the Japanese car manufacturer. But, my suggestion to Honda? Light a fire under your design team and give them more freedom in creativity to come up with more futuristic designs. This year's Civic was a great example of just that, winning a number of Car of the Year awards. The HR-V is close yet just short of the same in a crossover vehicle. Now...about that PRIZE OFFER that got me inspired to enter with my review.....Are you going to deliver it or should I come to you to pick it up?

Needed to Downsize!
I have owned my new HR-V for 2 days and it will take a while to get used to the size. So much easier to get in and out of, handles very nicely, more than enough room for me, love the color (purple) and enough room for 4 of my 6 grandkids!

The perfect vehicle for seniors.
Like everything about it. Still has enough cargo space and seating space for passengers, but good economy. Seniors should consider the HR-V for everyday use.

Good so far..
I had to trade in my 2008 CR-V and got the 2018 HR-V. It is a nice car so far. It does take off a little slower, but overall I have enjoyed it so far. I look forward to getting some great use of out this.

Love our new Honda HRV
It handles great. It is very comfortable in town and on a road trip. We love that it still has CD player. We enjoy books on CD's from the library on our daily commutes and road trips. Of course we like the new technology as well for music and podcasts. Gets great gas mileage

Life Saver
I was looking for a 4WD but didn't want to go over by budget, when I was introduced to the HR-V, I knew it was the right car at the present time to get through the winter months here in New Jersey. Unfortunately, My son had an accident and our HR-V was totaled. When the EMT Guy saw me running towards my son, he assured me that he was ok and told me that "THE CAR DID IT'S JOB". This confirmed that we leased the right car. We have been leasing from Honda from the pass 9 years or so and will be doing so in the future. We just picked up another HR-V this past week. Thank you.

Happy with new car
I needed a new car and was worried I wouldn?t find a car that made me few as comfortable as my old one. Instantly felt at ease driving the HRV very happy with my purchase. The car is easy to handle and not at all as big as I thought going froma car to an SUV. Inside is very spacious and comfortable. Overall I am very glad I made this purchase and will recommend to family and friends.

Attention To Details
This is my first ever Honda, having had a Mazda 6 the past 8 years. We purchased a 2018 HRV EX AWD. While details may or may make a vehicle perform better, it certainly makes for a more enjoyable experience and ownership. Remember how glove boxes would drop with a "thud" if you didn't hold onto it? Not with the HRV. It has a soft open feature, slowly lowering when opened. This is just one small example of the attention to details that Honda made for this vehicle.
