Beware...
Purchased HR-V EX. Engine lacks enough power combined with the CVT transmission. It lugs when going up any kind of hill. You can see the gas mileage fall rapidly as a result. The lack of storage behind back set is small. Honda needs to add 6 inches to length and two inches to wheel base for a better ride. Gas mileage should be 30-35 instead of 26-29. The dash has to much lights and distracts. Honda needs to revamp this car for the 2020 year.

Nice to get back into a Honda vehicle!
Nice styling, good gas performance and a whole lot of technologies. I like the all wheel drive option which is a must have in cold weather Wisconsin. All of this in a Honda reliability!

purchased car this week, so can't answer some ?s
Looks great inside and out. Size fits my needs. Just purchased this week so can't truthfully comment on performance or reliability myself; but have owned Honda Accords, Civics, and Fits and all have been reliable and never had mechanical problems.

I always like Honda (I owned three of them).
I loved the color, new features, the trunk has a lot of space; back seats can pull down, safety air bags, Honda 5 years warranty.

Comfy little SUV
Love this car! At first we thought it would be too small for a family of 3, but decided to go for it when found out how much space the car has when you fold the back seat! Smooth drive, and we get about 25 mpg on average. Comfy seats for long travel.

First Honda. Won't be my last.
Bought a 2018 Honda HR-V LX with AWD in August 2018 for use as my daily driver/dog taxi/around-town vehicle. I'm really enjoying it, a few months in. Getting great mileage on my commute: 26 mpg on average, driving roughly 1,000 miles a month in mixed city/highway, and 32 on the road. (This is *without* the ECON switch enabled; the AC can't keep up with North Carolina summers with that switch turned on, and highway performance gets a little sluggish for my tastes.) It has plenty of room for me; the back seat can actually accommodate a couple of adults comfortably, but I usually have those seats folded back to make a nice, large cargo area behind the driver and passenger seats. Our two dogs love to ride back there, on an old army blanket spread out on the floor. Winter weather will be the real test, but I've been glad for the AWD already in heavy rain. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone looking at compact crossovers. I realize that it's technically a subcompact crossover, but it doesn't feel like one.
