great family vehicle

We replace our 2003 honda odyssey with this 2004 version. We've been very happy with it so far. They have made it quieter, smoother running and more efficient.

works like a truck, drives a whole lot better

We love our Odyssey! We volunteer with a refugee settlement ministry. I have driven thousands of miles, hauled hundreds of people, delivered tons of donated household goods and all in great comfort and safety. I can deliver six kids safely to youth group, flip the seats down, take two out, and then deliver a complete twin bed with room to spare. Men, especially, have scoffed at me as I drive up to collect huge piles of donations, including beds. Once I drive away with their donations tucked inside my Odyssey, they are true believers. Even with a big load of stuff or people, the van has power and gets a move on, which is required to drive in this city!

Love the Odyssey

Purchased a 2004 Odyssey EX in Dec of '08. I have always told people "I love my van!" It rides great, is easy to drive, I can see my surroundings well, and it has lots of room (when you fold down the back seat and take out the middle ones, it's pretty much a cargo van). When the Air Conditioning switches on, it does make a noise that concerns some people, but we have noticed that they all make the same noise. We have had very few problems with it. Last week my hubby rear-ended another vehicle and our van was totaled (he was fine). Needless to say we're buying another '04, this time an EX-L with a few extra options!

Love my Odyssey

This minivan is a very smooth ride and very reliable. We have had it only 3 months and have already driven it 8000 miles through two different states and also off road for camping. It has been a great vehicle and it offers the room we need for our growing family. My favorite features: DVD player for road trips and the hide-away third row. My only complaints are 1) the phone charger a/v outlet is on the floor and so I either have leave my phone sliding around on the floor or place it in the cup holder, where it often gets unplugged, and 2) the cup holders in the console are a bit shallow and wide so they aren't great for tall heavy water bottles or very narrow bottles, as they will topple over. I would definitely buy another Honda Odyssey!

great car

good transportation for the money. Lots of room for the wife to load it up like a work car. I would buy another one.

Very satisfied

I bought a used, low-mileage 2004 Oddysey in 2010 for business use, as I usually load up mini-van cargo areas with stuff for my job. The Odyssey is extremely functional for business and personal use, almost to the point of being luxurious. Great gas mileage, excellent maneuverability, lots of nice features and extremely easy to drive. The engine is powerful, the turning radius is fantastic for cornering and getting into tight parking spaces, the transmission operates smoothly and the accessories are thoughtfully well-designed. I think I lucked out.

First minivan

We're used to subcompact Saturns, so an Odyssey with all the whistles and bells was a huge upgrade for us. Love it so far, very comfy for longer trips, lots of features, and tons of room. Second row captain's chairs just as comfy as front row.

Great Family Car!

After extensive research I found my used 2004 Honda Odyssey van to meet my needs as I was looking for a good family van that would hold its value, be easy to take my 3 kids in and be dependable. This van is very easy to drive and turning in tight spots is very easy. I liked the Toyota Sienna but the price for a used one with lots of miles and older was way more than I thought to be worth. Our kids love the van and especially love the DVD player it has that comes in handy with long drives.

problem cannot be fixed according to honda dealer

This vehicle has a roar in the transmission that the Honda dealer in Ocala says that cannot be fixed. They say that if they put in a new gear it will continue to make the roaring noise.

Great Van!!

I bought a Honda certified Odyssey EX used (an 04) 2 months ago. So Far so good. I have heard so many good things about Honda. My dealer didn't budge much on the price, but he did give me the extended wrap around bumper to bumper warranty as an incentive. I figured that was worth about $800. My neighbor down the street has one and gushed over his when I told him I was thinking about an Ody. I love the interior layout, the foldaway seat, EVERYTHING is what I had hoped for!
