2018 Honda Ridgeline consumer reviews

I was in the market for something more versatile then my luxury sedan but didn't want to give up all the comforts of a luxury car. I have 3 kids and am constantly lugging hockey gear, motorcycles, mountain bikes, building materials and the like. A sedan just wasnt cutting it amd my wife already has a large luxury SUV. I needed a truck bed and an SUV interior that drove like a car (comfortable) and has all the modern luxury appointments. I also am a master Auto Mechanic and needed some Japanes car dependability. This Ridgeline Black edition fit the bill all the way around. Drives like a car, hauls everything I'll ever put in the bed, tows a utility trailer easily(camera to guide hitch with nobody around-cool), has a trunk in the back so I can put the groceries in there with 5 seats occupied, has comfy leather heated seats, all modern electronics. Feels like it was made just for me. If they had this new body style and interior 10 years ago, I may have bought one sooner. I get compliments on the looks all the time. Not missing my Infiniti sports sedan at all. By the way, first Honda I've ever owned....if you're not too proud to drive a Honda and man enough to know you don't need a lifted V-8 monster truck with noisey tires and a bed you can't load stuff in, this may be the truck (SUT) for you. I don't know how it does off road and likey will not because I'll never do more than a dirt road or snowy street. If you need to rock crawl in Arches National Park, get a Jeep. Buy with confidence! I have driven Hondas for 40 years, and all have been great cars. My latest is a new 2018 Honda Ridgeline. I traded in a 2012 for this new one. I have had a total of 4 Ridgelines, 4 Accords, 2 Snowblowers, 2 Riding lawn mowers, 2 Walk behind mowers, and 2 Goldwing Motorcycles. All have given me trouble free service. My new Ridgeline is maybe the best Honda I have had yet. It is nice to look at, the interior is very plush and quiet and it has a ton of safty features. The mileage is already better than my previous Ridgeling. While I only have 400 miles on my new Ridgeling, I am looking forward to many miles of great driving!!

Perfect mid size car for me fits perfectly my family and really good on gas and after for a mod size car coz of the turbo charge

I believe ALL pickups will start having similar features i.e. trunk in bed liner. Very functional, sporty and practical for family use. Low enough for elderly family members to access.

A true pleasure to drive. Its quiet , handles well and plenty of power. I was originally worried about the interior room but there is plenty. I have transported four adults comfortably on many occasions. Loaded with technology. The only complaints I have is I had to buy accessories that I feel should have come on the truck. I did buy the top model and had to add Splash guards, running boards and rubber floor mats. I also added a tonneau cover which limits the shallow bed height. Over all it is a really nice vehicle.

Overall the truck is fantastic. My only complaint is I wish the drivers side had a little more legroom. Not the vehicle's fault. I'm 6'4" tall . On long trips I like to stretch out my legs more. Maybe they sell a seat rail extension kit.

The ridgeline is quite, comfortable with a smooth ride. I bought a new 2007 ridgeline RTL in 2006 and put a little over 117000 miles on it before buying a 2018 RTLE. You can't beat the quality of workmanship ref. the exterior or interior. I'm still getting used to the electronics but no problem in figuring them out. For me the bed size is perfect and my golf clubs fit nicely in the trunk. I highly recommend this vehicle to anyone.

Love the Ridgeline..It's like having a SUV with a pickup in back...rides and drives like a dream. Stylish and great looking..Easy enough to handle, even my wife loves to drive it..

all that I expected except: the only drawback is that the tailgate does not lock. I added a bed cover but cannot secure my cargo.

Good room. Good ergonomics. Love the safety features. Mileage could be better, but its a truck! Trunk, 2-way tailgate, and truck bed audio are great features. Think I wanna keep this one for a good long while. Absolutely love to look at it! Attractive machine! Dresses up nicely.
