what can i say, it's a honda sports car appreciati
this Honda S2000 is now a collector car as no more are being made. Very dependable and quality throughout. Very fast 245 horse power with 6 speed manual transmission.
RPMs.........FUN
The S2000 begs for you to mash the gas pedal to the floor, shift at 8000 rpms, hang on, and just try to keep the stupid grin off your face.
Simply a classic
Beautiful design inside and out. Very reliable. Great on gas and with stock exhaust system, the sound at 4,000 RPMs sounds just amazing. It is not a race car however. Treat it nice and it will not let you down.
A REAL sport car, small, fast, reliabile & style
It's terrific sport car all around, I've had my for twelve years, 80,000 miles and it goes like new. The convertible top was replaced and covered by warranty on second year, otherwise its a gem that goes up in value every year!
Reliable and fun performer with handsome looks
I have owned about 10 Honda S2000, different years, different colors and with a great difference in miles. The amazing thing is, that fomr the 18k mile 2006 S2k, to the 150k mile 05 S2K, they have all driven and performed exactly the same. This is truly a car you can own for a lifetime and just do the scheduled maintenance. I love how the S2000 looks, handles and pulls all the way to redline. And that 6 speed transmission is one of the best in the business. It is not a comfortable car for long trips, but for anything less than 3 hours long it is extremely enjoyable. I truly love what Honda did here, and I can truly say that along with the NSX and the ITR, the S2000 will become a future classic!
Awesome car!
Best car I?ve ever owned. Fast and fun to drive. I?ve owned 5 s2000s and I can?t live without it. Not a great day daily driver because it?s so small.
Driving Joy in a Small Roadster
I had only heard these were great and had owned a Miata some years back. Ran across the one I now own and can't believe my good fortune! First, the S2000 only compares to a Miata in that they are both 2-seat, 4-cylinder roadsters made in Japan. Miatas are good, fun cars and all, but the S2000 is in a league all its own. The drivetrain alone sets it apart, from its super high-revving VTEC engine to the sublime shifter. The driving experience - and it IS a car designed around the driver - is exactly perfect for what the car is. Driver and car feel harmoniously overjoyed on a spirited drive, as two lovers unquestionably destined for one another. Learn how to make it move and scream with joy, to find yourself being equally rewarded in return. A chassis and suspension designed solely for this singular model reminds you around every twist in the road that this is something special. And lets not forget who built it: The company whose name is synonymous with quality and reliability - Honda, of course. Now mind you, its not posh or lavishly equipped like a Porsche or Mercedes-Benz, nor does it have all the nanny electronic features to correct your driving mistakes. Its the driver who makes this car dance, not an electrical engineer or computer program. This is a small, well-made, low-frills roadster that does exactly what it is supposed to do, and that is provide its driver with every opportunity to achieve proper, open air, curvy backroads driving joy (while looking good doing it, I might add). Probably the last of its kind on this earth, any good + condition S2000 is a gift and, for those who appreciate what it offers, a once in a lifetime opportunity few will get to experience in this new age of automobiles. They're not being made any more and never will, so I suggest you find one in the best condition you can afford and make it your own. If you are a true driving enthusiast, you will have many smiles and no regrets.
Sure to be a collectible some day
Excellent example of a reliable Japanese sports car with timeless styling and captivating performance. Great on the road or on the track, although I haven?t taken it there yet to experience first-hand what I?ve read in reviews.
