2006 Hummer H3 consumer reviews

I was searching for a multi-use vehicle that I could drive daily, but still take out into the desert off-roading. I narrowed my search and decided that the Hummer H3 met all of my criteria for the best value. I have been very happy with its durability and ruggedness off-road. Plus, it is actually a fun vehicle to drive on the road. Sitting up high in a heavy vehicle, you feel safer. The gas mileage is not the best (I am averaging 16.5 mpg in city/highway driving) but I didn't buy it to save gas. I am very happy with my H3 and finally have a car that is FUN to drive.

This Hummer has worked for everything I have needed, trips to Florida, out west. Its the Best thing I have ever got myself. Would Not traid it for anything!

Very comfortable vehicle, with great interior room both front and back. Extremely fun to drive, both on and off road. I would suggest the hummer h3 to anyone who wants modern comfort with unrivaled offload capabilities.

Gas mileage kinda stinks, but I expected it for a 4700 pound vehicle. I should of bought one sooner! Very pleased with it. We have a 2006 H3 Hummer with 116k miles on it.

My HUMMER turns a lot of heads. It's an eye-catching yellow monster. Never got stuck anywhere! The full time 4X4 system is very dependable. I only took it to the mechanic a couple of times for basic maintenance. Changed the radiator, new brakes, new front driver side wheel bearing and that's it! It has 96,000 miles on it and planning to keep it until 300,000+ miles!

Love the old lady?s h3 but it?s like a go cart compaired to my H2 these will go thru a lot of messy places. Have fun

I've owned this truck for 25 months. Bought it with 158k miles on it, had one owner before me. I've replaced the battery and recently the tires with Kumho Road Venture AT51 LT285/75R16. This is my third truck/SUV, having previously owned a 1994 Nissan Pathfinder and a 2004 Toyota 4Runner. Both of those were also great, but this Hummer stands out with regards to function and style (of course). Nothing like it on the road, save for the H2. I have driven this truck from Tampa, FL to Greenville, SC with not one issue or concern. I am amazed at how reliable this truck has been. My only complaints are, 1/ the sunroof developed a leak (common) and I had to do some handyman work to fix it ... would've bee nice if that were not an issue in the first place) and 2/ the engine - although sufficient - is under powered for the truck, so there is no speeding around traffic. In town its a non-issue. On the highway, well, you're simply not going to fly past people. Would recommend to anyone and will likely be my kids first car/truck.

Other then the small windows Wich one gets over, it is easy to drive and park. Descent gas milage for a awd auv. Drives anywhere you ask it. Comfy seating with plenty of leg room even in back. I only wish gm kept making them.
