I've owned Chevrolet cars, regret buying

The car in too low to the ground, drags very easily, body is made out of cheaper material. Will never buy another Hyundai Accent, cheap quality!

My very first car that I own

It is efficient for driving. It does not have a Bluetooth but it has an aux. i really bought it just for going to school and back so I’m not to tech savvy on anything really. It has a good gas pedal to almost flies lol

My Accent 2013 is having trouble with the starting

My Accent is having problems. When I turn the key to start it up it cuts off. It took 2-3 times to start. Is my car on recall.

Good on gas but not made for Puerto Rico roads.

Good on gas but the conditions of the roads in Puerto Rico are not meant for this type of front end low style of the vehicles. (Accents) Puerto Rico towns have too many streets with trenches were the front bumpers of the cars get stuck and pulled off the front clips leaving the bumper hanging. All towns in Puerto Rico have the same style streets. (trenches)

Good car but, made cheaply

Great car, great mileage. But very cheaply made. Do not buy this car expecting the exterior to last very long. Year's ago I hit a RABBIT(going about 35mph) and it busted my front bumper! I also soon after hit a raccoon(about 45mph) and it tore off half of the bumper. And I had to replace it. Overall I enjoyed owning this car but would not purchase again. Due to poor quality of parts.

Most reliable gas saver car I owned.

Car is great and well maintained, runs very smooth. The AC blasts Mt. Everest Freezing Air and is the best gas saving car I have ever owned. Almost 40 miles the gallon on the highway. Has Aux and USB ports and great sound. It is pretty spacious comparing to other compact size sedans. Has a lot of trunk room considering the size of the car. Over all I have been happy with this car.

My first NEW car now 99000 miles.

As my first brand new car it has been a great experience. I have the electric green color which is really fun. My friends and family have affectionately nicnamed it the bugger. I've never had a problem with it. Its a very low maintenance vehicle. I haven't had to do any work on it since I purchased it brand new other than replacing the tires twice, replacing the battery and changing the fluids as prescribed (which is not often). I have very little knowledge of cars and this baby doesn't need me to know anything. The Eco mode setting allows me to get great gas milage but when I need an extra kick of power I turn it off to go up the super steep hills. I was also able to kick it into a manual setting when driving in the snow which got me through the snowpocalypse all Portlanders know about from 2 years ago. Cons: Visibility isn't the best when a larger vehicle is driving behind you with bright headlights. I'm planning on keeping my car as long as I can. Can't wait to see just how many miles this baby will last.

For the price, you're getting a solid car.

I bought a certified used 2013 Hyundai Accent Hatchback se about a year and half ago. At this point, I've put about 17,000 miles on it. With that being said, I've spent a lot of time in this car and would most definitely recommend it. Pros: Reliable - in the time I've owned it, I have had zero(0) problems with this car, and with it going on 6 years old here, that's great. Interior - while it's not anything to write home about, for the price you're paying, it looks pleasing to the eyes. From the dash and lights, to the stereo and fun designs on the seats that keep it from feeling plain. Also, you get quite a good amount of trunk space with the hatchback and when putting down the seats, you can really fit quite a bit in there. I've been through two(2) moves with it at this point. Exterior - again, nothing to the write home about, but for a cheap subcompact car, it's looks pretty slick and even 6 years later still holds up pretty well against the current models. It does have fog lights, blinkers on the side mirrors and a moon roof, which all keep it feeling a little more luxurious than it's GS and GLS counterparts. Comfort - as for the driver seat, it feels great. I have a decent commute everyday and spend at least 2 hours in my car and never have any problems sitting in that same spot. As for others, I don't really have any complaints from those in the passenger or back seats. Always enough leg and head room, even for my big and tall passengers. Value for the Money - Most definitely. For being so inexpensive but getting all the little bell whistles most other cars would skip out on, plus it having a great looking sleek design that holds up. As well it's awesome reliability, it's the perfect car for someone like me who's just investing in their first real car or just someone that doesn't want to break the bank but have a little of best of both worlds. Cons: Performance - This is the only con honestly and it has to do with a couple things. 1) The gas tank; it's ridiculously small and even though you're getting pretty decent gas mileage, if you drive an average amount, you'll be at a gas station filling up way more than you'd expect to be with a little subcompact. 2) The gas mileage could be better. While HW I can average a solid 32-35MPG, city or even combined, it drops drastically to 26-28MPG. I just wasn't expecting this when purchasing the car as my old 2002 Honda Accord which was a beast in the size compared to this thing, managed about the same. 3) Now this should be a given and honestly I wasn't expecting it to be all that great in the snow, but wow it turned out to be even worse than what I was expecting. So, buyer beware if you live somewhere other than the south or west coast. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it. There are some cons but honestly the car is still very worth it and it'll last you a long time. I had friend that was in search of a new car and recommended this one to him. He ended up picking up a 2016 5-speed manual sedan Accent GLS. He's also loving it at this point.
