I love the quality that Hyundai offers.

Hyundai is by far one of the best ride quality of any car manufacturer. The cockpit of their vehicles make you feel like you are in a comfortable chair. The smoothness of the ride is like floating. The quietness over bumpy roads is unsurpassed. Their vehicle is made for the drivers comfort & needs.

Hyundai Finance is a Nightmare!

The dealership Rt 2 Hyundai in Leominster MA was wonderful and we loved the car but Hyundai Finance was a nightmare to deal with. We have leased 4 cars from this dealership and were always treated as loyal and trustworthy customers. We traded in this 2014 Elantra with 22,614 miles which is far below the allotted 36,000. Five weeks after the trade in we received a bill from Hyundai Finance saying the car needed 4 new tires and we were charged almost $400. The car was driven by an 85 year old woman and spent most of the time during the winters in the garage. I argued that the tires were not bad and even if they were shame on Hyundai for putting cheap tires on their vehicles and then charging it to the customer. We will never purchase another Hyundai. Very sad that this company does not care about loyal customers and is willing to lose a long standing customer over a $400 charge that isn't even valid. The pictures they sent of the inspection report shows a gauge in a tire. No proof what so ever that those tires were even mine! Very disappointed in Hyundai and I suggest you look elsewhere when purchasing a vehicle! My job as a teacher is to not only teach math but to teach the teens to be honest, hardworking and most importantly be a good person. Hyundai Finance CSR need a refresher course! Thank You

Reliable, Safe and A Great Value

Wonderful, safe and reliable car. My Elantra was perfect for my needs, but when I moved into the city I no longer needed a car. I have had no issues with it since purchasing in 2015.

A decent vehicle for those strapped for cash.

The Hyundai Elantra is the perfect bare-bones car for most car buyers. I only admire two things about this vehicle though, those two things being the motor and the brakes. The motor in this base sedan wants to rev, which is absolutely ridiculous. In an economy car the torque should be down low, not above 3k rpm. There is no low end in this car and its rather obvious when the motor has to downshift on any hill of minor inclination. A result of this is sub-par real-world MPG, I can usually get around 30-32 combined, and the MPG estimator in the dash cluster is always around 10% optimistic, saying that you're perhaps getting 33mpg when you're actually getting around 30(I've reset the trip refueling multiple times, and then upon the next refuel, seen how many gallons to get a full tank). The brakes are amazing in this car and are always willing to do hard stops. The suspension is appalling, upon hitting minor bumps in the road you'll feel the suspension squiggle and squirm around, it's truly unsure on whether it wants to follow the path you're heading in or if it wants to go a different way. I even went to Hyundai to address this several weeks after getting the car and they claimed that this was normal behavior. The suspension on this alone would keep me from purchasing this vehicle. In addition this car has terribly slow shifting, steering and throttle. I believe it's all electronic and that could explain it but that's not an acceptable reason for an unresponsive vehicle. From stops with low throttle input, you'll be wondering whether the car even knows you want it to move. The transmission lets you shift your own gears, but is extremely slow to inputs and isn't smooth. I've noticed after longer drives it performs better, but most people aren't driving 60+ miles each trip. In the end the Elantra has a rear end with a mind of it's own, a transmission that's never in a hurry to shift, throttle that's more laid-back than your uncle Benny when he's at the golf course and a motor that does exactly what it shouldn't do. This economy car seems to truly be confused on its purpose, whether that's the rear-end wanting to take you into a tree, or the motor forcing the transmission to drop a gear or two on a hill just to maintain an adequate speed. With that being said this will be the last Hyundai I'll ever own.

Cute sporty looking car

We bought our 2014 Elantra in June of 14 , is been almost 3 years now It's comfortable, good on gas , handles good with turns as far as bad weather, it's not too bad but it sets low so maybe that's why . it does make a pop noise when we turn it off , not sure what that is. Never had any issues so over all had been a great car so far and I am under 40,000 miles on it
