Spacious, Comfortable, and Good Value
My highest praise goes to Hyundai's interior designers, who managed to put together a comfortable cockpit with buttons and gadgets in easy, intuitive reach while retaining maximum space for the driver and passengers. The car is more spacious than some SUVs I've driven. I'm 6'2" and fat, and I can sit in the back seat behind my own driving position comfortably. The seats are fairly nice as well, although they can get a bit straining after very long driving sessions. The performance is... well, it's an economy car with an economy engine. It's outperformed by the Civic and Mazda3 by a good margin, but other cars in the segment fall short. It has reasonable acceleration for a 4-banger as long as you're on flat road, but steep hills give it a real run for its money. On the flip side, however, the automatic transmission is fantastic. It's one of the more responsive and intelligent transmissions I've driven while in full automatic mode, and the manual mode is very nice. Shifts are fast and the gearing is perfect. My only complaint is that some software designer thought it would be a good idea to have the car still automatically shift itself FAR outside of safety thresholds when in manual mode (i.e. when pressing the accelerator a bit to go uphill), meaning that there will be times when you'd rather hold your gear than your speed, but the car won't let you. Overall, the Elantra is fantastic value for money. It'll ring you less than twenty grand and it'll be a pleasant, comfortable ride for tens of thousands of miles with a very generous warranty. It won't win any races or any beauty contents, but that's not why you're shopping for an economy sedan. But it might win some races, against Corollas and minivans and stuff.

Best test drive car
This is a great car for any commuter. It is very comfortable driving and offers plenty of room. The backseat has great space for passengers and the trunk offers plenty of storage. The dashboard and console are great and has USB and aux plug in for any device. The car has sport and eco mode for any type of driving

Excellent vehicle to drive. Very comfortable and q
It has all the power you need to go any where in Arizona. The 6 speed transmission shifts quietly and efficiently. I recently took a long trip to Sedona, Cottonwood and Prescott AZ. I averaged 39 miles per gallon. Stereo and comfort driving are remarkable.

Big Mistake
I have a tire that keeps going low and it's not the tire it's the cheap wheels they use. Nothing I can do but keep putting air in my tire. Not good in the snow. I have never had a car slid so much. Can't wait to get another car.

Great car for the money!
This car is fun to drive. It gets great mileage. It is not short on power as most economy cars. Lots of leg room compared to other cars in the same class.

Definitely a reliable car hands down.
This is exactly what the doctor ordered for me. Enough room for me and my four kids to ride comfortably along with showing soccer gear in the trunk, and amazing gas mileage. Love the eco mode. Two weeks worth of driving on one full tank! Smooth quiet ride. 2 12V sockets and a USB port, as well as Sirius XM radio. Love This Car!

The most perfect car
SO comfortable, reliable and cool. It is the best car I have ever owned. The gas milage is amazing and the little back camera has saved me so many times when backing out of difficult places. Mine has bluetooth so I can talk on the phone while driving safely. It also has xm radio. I would recommend this car to anyone.
