Best Value For Your Money!

I can’t say how reliable the car is because it’s me to me. However after car shopping for many days and searching for hours online the Elantra Is by far the best value for your money.

Most unreliable car I have ever owned

I’ve had nothing but problems with this vehicle since I bought it in 2018 and cannot wait to give it back.Hopefully it’s not going to be a long drawn out process

This is a great car for prics

Compared to the civic And Corolla this car is very close on reliability. People give Hyundai’s a bad rep due to their reliability issues in the early 2000’s. And of course you get what you pay for. On average these cars go for 3-5,000 less than a Honda or Toyota. On average they last 10-20,000 less miles. Which is about what the price difference is in lifespan and miles almost. Overall your going to hit 200,000 no problem if you take care of them. The 2017 and 2018 models have numerous issues with ignition coils and spark plugs which are incredibly easy to fix if your willing to teach yourself. The car is a bit smaller than corolla or civic but not much of a difference. They are incredibly easy and cheap to fix which is a plus. I’d say my oil and fluids get dirty much quicker than expected. Do not think your transmission fluid and engine coolant are lifetime fluids that is totally BS!! Change them every 30-40,000 or you will regret losing your motor after warranty. Again it’s a great car and much more affordable option. Just rake extra good care of it and it will treat you as good as the best.

Think Before You Buy

This car is seriously crap. Passenger seatbelt goes off when no one is sitting there, radio goes black and glitches, I’m 5 foot and hit my head getting in it, the car stops while driving, and my most favorite was spinning out on the highway and almost dying because of a little rain fall.

Great reliable car but reconsider if

I bought this car because I was tired of rental cars at our vacation home . Since COVID I moved the car down here and really got to drive the car. My issue is I should have gone for power seats, I have lower back issues and can’t stay in the car for more then 2 hours at most. Awful seating in every way . Just thinking about it hurts. Other then be squeezed in the car rides very nice. Controls and smoothness are in place.

Stylish looking, lots of feature, very reliable

I have a2018 Elentra Limited. It is at 36K now and I haven’t had any single issue so far. All the electronics, brakes, rotor everything wirks perfect. The only cost is regular oil change. It is not the best car from a performance perfective but it is a commute car.
