2014 Hyundai Genesis consumer reviews

I bought this car 6 1/2 years ago from a widow. It had very low mileage. It still does. (52,000 miles) At the time I wished it had a backup camera. But then I found an after market one with a t 9 inch screen that fit the dash and had it installed. Being retired, I don't put a lot of miles on it and wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be my last car. My first Hyundai, a Santa Fe lasted for 15 years and my wife's Entourage lasted 13.. Hyundai vehicles, with their long warranties deliver the most bang for the buck in my opinion. My wife now drives a Tucson and couldn't be happier.

Has a big engine who sound great, low miles in perfect condition interiors, it look nice, really clean, good tires, cute leather, nice to drive

This is 3rd Genesis. Owned a 2013 3.8, 2015 5.0 and now bought a certified 2014 3.8. Great quiet compliant ride, new continental tires big improvement. Engine very responsive and averages 20 mpg. Only issue is blower motor which was replaced for free. Outstanding dealer experience at Rick Case Weston.

Extremely comfortable and reliable. In four years of ownership the only problem I ever had was that the alternator went & I had to put in a new one. Other than that all I ever replaced was tires & brakes & inder-hood rubber (hoses). I got an oil change very frequently and that's all it took. I'd sell this car to my own brother!

The car met all my need had everything that I was looking for and it runs good doesn’t have any problems nice good interior and seats

I Love my car I even named it snow white cause of the color, the only issue I have is gas mileage 18 city/24 highway, it turns heads and I have the genesis logo everywhere on the car people think it's a Bentley and it's my Bentley at a lower price and I Love the technology package with luxury features.

I love my Genesis until this year, My heat and air goes off and on cooling or heating. It is now colder in NC and I have no heat or defroster. It is now torn apart at Hyundai and they cannot figure out why in idle it just blows cold air. They diagnosed as a bad thermostat housing and ordered parts, repaired parts and still not corrected.

5.0 R-Spec is an excellent vehicle, quite, smooth, comfortable, quality built, with plenty of get up and go. Wish I had bought one years ago. Koreans have done a quality job.

We leased the car new in 2014. Currently has 37,000 miles and still runs like new. Liked it so much we just bought it out of the lease. Car has all the features you will ever need and its really fast. I like the 333 HP bolted to the 8 speed transmission. I use the manual shift option all the time. Car is a real value for the money. Car is really smooth and great for long range travel. Only negatives, I'm over 6 feet and could use a few more inches of leg room. In addition, you will need snow tires in the winter.

I bought my 2014 Hyundai Genesis V6 as a leftover in 2015. Got a great deal. I was concerned about the rear wheel drive in the snow and with the factory summer tires it didn't go in the snow at all. However I put a set of Michelin snow tires on it and was out with the 4x4's on snowy days with no issues. Plus I get awesome gas mileage with the rear wheel drive, 333hp V6. 24 mpg city and 30mpg highway! The power is awesome and the ride is super quiet, better than my friends BMW 5 series. Besides the Corvette convertible I had this is the best car I've owned.
