Smallest Vehicle I have ever owned
This car meets all my needs, so far. Front seats are very comfortable. Back seats would be cramped for adults but I rarely transport anyone. I will have to get used to smaller trunk space, but currently seems adequate. Having a little trouble with Hyundai website but it was set up at dealership. Will go by for some assistance. I am slowly learning electronics set up, since I had an older vehicle prior and this is all new to me. Enjoying the “get up and go” of the vehicle. Would recommend the Kona! “Seems to be a lot of bang for your buck”!

It’s still very new but we are very pleased.
We still enjoy our 2017 Hyundai Tucson. It has over 70,000 miles and we never had a problem with it. We wanted a second car, a smaller one, to drive around town and we were happy to find the Kona. There are a couple of new features that we are enjoying and so far we love our new purchase.

Best value for the money. Many perks!
This vehicle is outstanding. The amount of technology in this vehicle is mind blowing. The warranty, road side assistance, free tire rotations, free oil changes...The list goes on and on.

Still brand new but I love it so far
I have driven a Mazda 3 hatchback (two of them) for the past 12 + years and wanted another hatchback but living in Minnesota, AWD was a new priority this time. Used to be you couldn't find a hatchback with AWD (unless it was a Subaru) but you can now! I looked at the Mazda CX3, the Honda HRV, and both seemed very cramped, the cargo space was much smaller and I just didn't love the look or interior layout of either. The Subaru Crosstrek was great but way too expensive for me. The Kona is exactly what I was looking for. I love the size, the style, the performance, the gas mileage and the price is right. I will be driving this car for the next 10+ years!

Reliable Car
This car has everything I wanted. I especially love the keyless entry and push start. The car interior is very nice looking. It has a touch screen that is so easy to use. I also love all the safety features on this vehicle. It has lane assist and airbags that is all around the vehicle. I feel extremely safe driving this vehicle with my family in it. The exterior looks sophisticated and fun.

Seriously.......cannot recommend enough.
I was driving a 2017 Elantra prior to this vehicle. I had spent the better part of 2020 and early 2021 looking for a small SUV because I'm an American, and inconveniencing other drivers in turn lanes is my God given birthright. I had looked at Ford Escapes, Nissan Rouge Sports, Kia Seltos', Chevrolet Equinox's, and Honda HR-V's. However, finding a small SUV that didn't have a rubber band for a transmission (CVT) or the dreaded 3 cylinder engine was becoming a challenge. The Escape had the 3 cylinder and rode like a Amish wagon on a cobblestone street, not to mention it had all the acceleration of an elderly man with two new hips up an icy driveway. The HR-V, Seltos, and Rouge Sport were nice looking, but driving a vehicle that never shifted is a waking nightmare all it's own. Some people may be fine with it, but I couldn't come to terms with an a-melodic drive time. Not to mention, the Seltos, while being the Kona's corporate cousin was un-reasonably expensive and I had to pay $27,000 just to get heated seats, because they only came on the EX trim level. And the Equniox for 2020.....well that had the lovely auto start/stop feature.....and their drivers seat is about as comfortable as sitting on a cardboard box in a railway car. But, I digress. I could not have asked for a better small SUV. I have the 2021 SEL. Granted, it's only front wheel drive, but I am averaging 36 mpg on city and highway. Seriously.....30 bleeping 6. And I got heated seats. And forward collision warning. And rear cross traffic alert. And blind spot monitor. And lane departure. And driver attention warning. There are only three things I would change about it, both of which are things I could have solved if I had bought a different trim line or option package. Number 1: The driver seat with the manual adjustment is an arduous undertaking to get into the right height and seat back position for anything resembling a comfortable driving style. Number 2: The front wheel drive does NOT have an independent rear end. So you get to change your pants whenever it skips.....typically at 65-80 mph on the interstate. But what's a little heart palpitation now and then right? And number 3. The tires on the front wheel drive SEL.....are horrid in the snow. Like.....just no. Overall, the week after I bought mine, my girlfriend's dad went and got one of his own. And now my own dad is looking at getting one. It's definitely the best small SUV for the money.

So great I bought it twice
I had a 2018 kona and loved it. The safety features are truly wonderful. And the gas mileage is unbelievable, so when the dealer called and asked if I wanted a 2021 Kona I did not hesitate for a minute. The new Kona has everything my old one had with the addition of the lane assist (which I like on the highway but turn off on city streets). This car has everything I need and want in a vehicle and is fun to drive!

So far so good - I'm lovin' it
traded in my 2013 Elantra for the new 2021 Kona SEL and it was one of the best decisions in my life! So far I adore this mini SUV although still trying to get used to all the fancy features. I hope it lasts forever!
