Can't say much yet because I just bought this car but I love the interior design and how smooth and quickly it accelerates! I will have to come back and post an update once I have it for a year or more.

Best Car I've Ever Owned
This was my favorite car. In the eleven years I drove this car, I never once had a major issue. It was incredibly reliable. It got pretty good gas mileage, and it drove very well. It was comfortable, and provided enough space to accomplish any task. When people ask what my hypothetical "dream car" is, I always answer with the Santa Fe. It was the best car ever. I traded in for a minivan to have a little more space for my growing family, but if they had Santa Fes with a third row, you'd better believe I'd be purchasing that next. It was the perfect small SUV, and was a great car for many years.

Great Starter Vehicle
Needed a smaller, reliable SUV for my daughter and grandkids. The Santa Fe fit the bill just right. It's large enough for her to haul the kids and their stuff but small enough that she can easily handle it.

Great Value
Absolutely love all the little touches included in this affordable and reliable vehicle. Read some complaints of not being roomy enough but I am 5'7" and had no issues. This car feels sturdy and has a great look. So glad we chose it!

5 years and counting
Bought it with only 5000+ mileage in March of 2007 and now its 100000+ miles and it still runs great. No major problem with it. Average MPG is about 20mpg combined highway and city driving. On winter/hot summer maybe down to 18mpg with heater/AC in use while driving all the time. I have the FWD 2.7 V6 and it drives good in Michigan winter on up to 4 inches of virgin snow on the highway. I'm planning to keep it for maybe another 100000 more miles.
