2014 Hyundai SONATA consumer reviews

I loved this car we had it for 3 years. The only reason we got rid of it was because we needed a 3rd row due to having a baby. It was a tad bit overpriced if you ask me but I bought brand new. (Not something I will ever do again). It had a bluetooth connect for hands-free driving. The back seats came down if you needed to haul something. There was plenty of legroom in both the front and back seats. The seats were not as comfortable as one would hope but comfortable enough to sleep in on long car rides. I frequently took about a 6-7 hour car ride and our usual MPG was 35. In town it got around 30MPG. I don't have any actual complaints about this car, it served me and my family well.

I have recently purchased this car and so far it does the job for me. Some of the things I like about my trim is the power it has while giving you the ability to change the steering wheel comfort. This is great, some of the negative about this vehicle is how it rides. It is a very rough car, suspension not as good compared to its competition. This can be a deal breaker for many, I can tolerate it. The technology features in this car are not what I expected. The ability to change music is very difficult when you can?t visually see you playlists on the main screen. Besides these things, this has been a great car so far.

Cool car but it didn't come as equipped as I would have liked. The interior seemed average the cabin was like other cars but the drive was pretty cool. The best thing is the warranty. So it"s worth buying.

Had NO idea what I was looking for when I went in, test drove the Hyundai and just knew that was it!

This car has been a constant headache. If it?s not one thing it?s another. I?ve called the manufacturer many times and been given the equivalent of oh well despite showing abnormal amounts of repairs needed for the same problems.

I like it for what it is. The price I paid for the vehicle (new) was very reasonable for the features (I have the Canadian GLS model). The only options not included in this trim level were leather seats and navigation, otherwise everything else is there. The car is generally comfortable, and I've used it on a few long-distance drives to/from the US. Gas mileage is excellent. Heat/AC work reliably, as do defrosters (F & R). Stereo sound quality could be better, although again for this price it's not bad at all. Dash gauges look a little cheap, but overall the quality of the cabin is good. I find the car noisy on the road, particularly when accelerating. On quiet roads, the car is quiet, naturally. Have had 3 recalls already, taken care of by dealers. Finally, I wouldn't buy another only because I prefer a stiffer drive, and the wheel and general navigation in the car is very mushy.

I am the 2nd owner of my '14 Hyundai Sonata-it was previously a leased car by one owner. I like how easy it was to learn the touch screen stereo and other features. It is a smooth ride, keeps outside noises great and the fuel economy compared to what I was driving is phenomenal! $20 gives me 250 miles! I love it and will take care of it like new as the years pass. Most impressive is the Phantom Black Metallic color- the metallic colors when looking at the paint closely shows blues. purples, grays..it's amazing! I was a die hard Chrysler/Jeep driver my entire life..not anymore!

I would have never thought that I would own a vehicle like this. The turbo power is amazing. The interior and exterior is very attractive. Hyundai have really come a long way.

This car has literally met all of my needs! It is very reliable and the space inside is out of this world. It's a regular sized looking car on the outside but the room on the inside is crazy spacious. I wanted something that could work for my sporty side but also reliable and roomy enough for kids and dogs. With this car I got both!!
