Great Value, Beautiful Car

On the inside this car looks and feels like a Mercedes-Benz at of course almost half the price. Now I do have the fully loaded Hybrid and I did have a battery problem after the first year but the warranty covered it. In fact I've not had to pay for much in the area of maintenance on this vehicle. I am currently getting about 35 miles to gal but I know if I drove a little better I could get about 38. The car gets up and goes and handles great! I've owned just about every kind of high end car and had to always "maintain" them with several trips a year to the dealership. Thats not the case with this car. Very reliable. The trunk space is huge! I am a real estate agent and i can easily put my large REMAX signs in the trunk. If I'm not careful it turns into a blackhole.

This was the most awesome car I have ever drove.

This car not only had wonderful gas mileage with it being a hybrid but it was comfortable to ride in. Easy handling and fun to drive. Love the body style, large roomy trunk, great interior style.

Economical Auto

Could use a little more headroom and headlights need help otherwise it's a terrific car. The headroom is needed entering the vehicle. The car is quite economical and performance is supriseingly good.

Economical but Performs

The car responds well when passing or entering expressways and is still quite economical. it's very comfortable but could use a higher door for easier entry.

So far so good

Great on gas. I used to fill up every 4 days but now it?s every 8 days with the eco function! Super roomy even for my 6 foot tall boyfriend. Plenty of leg room in the front and back plus lots of trunk space.

Beautifully Designed Inside and Out!

This review is for the 2016 Hyundai Hybrid Limited with the Ultimate Package. This car is fully loaded with every option offered for the car. The leather seats are very comfortable and supportive enough for both short and long trips. It has heat seat not only for the driver and passenger?s side, but rear seats are heated as well! The driver?s and passenger?s seats in the front also has cooling for the hot summer months. The steering wheel, mirrors and washer fluid are also heated. It has lane departure and frontal crash detection warning. The kids love the gigantic panoramic sunroof that comes with the Ultimate Package! The 8-inch screen is great for the GPS and all the onscreen apps. The touchscreen is fairly responsive and just below the screen are all the buttons needed to help you to skip right to the main areas you need to access such as GPS, radio, media, settings, etc. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is great and is available for this car (was not available when the car was sold for 2016, but software can be upgraded). You can choose from 3 different drive modes: eco, normal or sport. With 193 combined HP, the hybrid offers enough pep to get up to speed on the freeway and for passing. In eco mode the car is less responsive and shifts to optimize fuel economy. The EV mode is automatic and controlled by the computer. I wish there was a way to lock it in EV mode at city speeds, but after driving the car for a while, you will start figuring out the shift points and able to activate the EV mode even at cruising freeway speeds. After diving the car for a month I was able to increase the fuel economy from around 37.5mpg to over 40mpg combined by figuring out how to activate the EV mode more often. The fuel economy for this car is not great compared to other hybrids, but pretty much in the middle of the pack for a large mid-sized car. If you are looking for a large mid-sized car that can fit an average family, gets good fuel economy, has a large trunk and has plenty of tech as well as luxurious interior, this car is for you.

Sonata Hybrid SE Exceeds Expectations

I purchased this vehicle as I wanted to replace a vehicle that was getting about 14 to 15 miles per gallon of fuel. I feel this Sonata Hybrid's exterior and interior have classic, universally appealing style and will not be considered dated within the next 10 years, which is how long I anticipate keeping the car. So far, I think my decision to go with Hyundai over other brands has been a good one as the mileage, dependability and overall driving experience has far exceeded my expectations. I look forward to many years of dependability and economy driving my Sonata Hybrid!

Great Car for the money!

I've owned this car for a month now and love it. Gas mileage is alittle less than advertised like every car. I've been averaging 38mpg with a mix of driving with about 1,300 miles. Expect to get between 38-40 on average. Love the interior, plenty of cup holding for the family, lots of leg room in front and rear, and nice big trunk. Exterior looks great, headlights are plenty bright to show the road, smart key is awesome, very little blind spot. Only quirky thing I don't like is the cruise control on this car. It seems to hunt for the right gear when on cruise sometimes. I set at 70mph and will sometimes accelerates to 73 on an uphill and go down to 67mph on a downhill. It doesn't really like to stay steady for some reason, not sure if it's the way the Hybrid is programmed to conserve gas but very annoying. Overall love the car and got a great deal on it since it was still new and dealerships are having trouble moving these. Hyundai is changing the body of the gas version and people don't seem to be buying the hybrid I guess waiting on it to change.

Beautiful styling

Very quiet in both battery and engine modes, seamless transition from battery to engine. Steering tight and reponsive. Lots of bells and whistles for the money- exceptional value. As a 2016 new left over, got a great deal from dealership to move it out. Only drawback was it did not have navigation with it, however can link it to cell phone to take care of that issue.
