My 2007 Hyundai Tucson GLS is very reliable.

After using carcomplaints.com I felt much more educated in my decision making process. The 2007 Hyundai GLS. received the awesome award and some of the highest rating available. It also came out on top as far as not having any major issues or coplaints. I needed a reliable safe and rather inexpensive vehicle . One that won't drain my wallet after the purchase. This vehicle cameout on top of all that I was looking in a car for myself, my wife, daughter, and my first grandchild/g. daughter.

It's good.

Overall - liked it - good family transport, rides nice. It not complete bot It's good. I can say It's great. This car is normal for our family. Rear seats fold down for lots of cargo room. Stylish color with features like leather seats, heated windshield wipers, heated seats, etc. Good choice.

Very reliable, gas saver

I owned this car for 5 years, i was the second owner. The car never had any mayor mechanical issue, never had to call AAA or any other service. The fuel economy is amazing in highways, just average in city but that isbas expected. It's a front wheel drive so in the snow is pretty good, never got stuck. It has enough cargo room and the back seats fold flat, wich is a very good feature. Entertainment systemnis just average, but easy to upgrade. The a/c is amazing, and maintenance is very cheap (parts are easy to get and unexpensive). All in all is a good car to buy if you find it for the right price.

Can't stand up to road salt

After 8 years in Buffalo NY the brake lines rusted out ($800) and the oil pan rusted out. My 1999 Ford Econoline still has the original brake lines and oil pan. And 34,000 more miles.

Great car for the money

I bought the vehicle (a 2007) in October 2014. It showed a lot of wear on the inside and dings on the outside but only had 57K miles on it. I've put another 3K miles on it and it is doing well. Mechanic checked it out and didn't find any problems. The rear defroster isn't working, the shocks for the rear window have lost most of the their ability to keep the window up, and the rear lift gate control will have to be replaced. These are items I would expect to still be working on a 60K mile car but I suppose 7 years of service is ok but not great. I have towed a trailer with no problems and expect the 4 wheel drive and lock function will be very useful this winter

Great little SUV

I was searching for a Ford Escape and by chance ended up checking out a Hyundai Tucson. I took it for a test drive and I was sold. It's easy for me to drive (I've always had compact cars), the interior is roomy and it looks very up to date - even though it's 6 years old. The MPG is so-so, but I knew that before I bought it. The consumer reports reviews were good, which also sealed the deal for me. And I negotiated a great price with the dealer. I'm enjoying this vehicle and l look forward to putting many, many miles on it.
