Hyundai number 3!!

Overall I love my new Tucson. I went with the SEL plus as I am no fan of sunroofs. That said I wish they offered the Emergency breaking in the SEL plus. The only real shortcoming as far as I am concerned is the acceleration from a stop. It's slow and sluggish but once you get going it's fine. I love the new design the Tucson very stylish the interior is plenty roomie and I'm 6'3. I'm not sure but my wife and I both think they have made the luggage area smaller. Overall it's a very nice SUV.

Excellent choice of new vehicle

We took a 1300 mile trip last week in our new Tucson. In the course of our visit, I drove a Ford, A Nissan and an Audi all were the same type of vehicle as the Tucson. They all fell short of the Tucson in various ways. Unfortunately, we were in a serious accident that totaled our new Tucson so we tested the safety of our vehicle. There were five people in the car when we were hit broadside by a large truck and no one was seriously injured. If in fact they total the car, we will be back at the same Hyundai dealer buying another Tucson form the same salesman.

My Fourth Hyundai

I have never driven a vehicle twice...always traded for another brand, until I bought my first Hyundai and I have bought nothing else since! I have had the Elantra, the Santa Fe, and my second Tucson. I am much more impressed with Hyundai than several of the much more expensive vehicles I have had. The ride is smooth and the windows are airtight. The acceleration when using ECO is a fabulous benefit. What would be options on most vehicles comes as standard on the Hyundais that I have had (and especially the one I have now). I'm very picky about what I drive and I will continue to buy Hyundai as long as they continue to make them to their current standards.

2018 Hyundai Tucson - Value!

Recently purchased this vehicle and, aside from the gorgeous exterior, this car is built for performance, reliability, and is great on fuel economy. Money well spent

Great with only minimal complaint

Great compact SUV for the price. Looks stylish. Wonderful full sun roof. I only have 2 complaints. Acceleration upon takeoff really lags for a few seconds. It?s like you push the gas and it takes it a few seconds to grab a gear and go. Not good when you really need to accelerate for onrampa etc. once it gets going though it has plenty of power. 2nd complaint is MPG. Supposed to get around 25-28 mpg o believe (I have the value edition with 1.6 turbo engine), however I never get that type of gas mileage. I?m lucky if I even get 20mpg per city driving and like 23 on hwy. most times my gas reader says I?m getting 13-17 in the city which is pretty terrible. And I?m not even shoving the gas hard in an attempt to get better gas. I would recommend this car but warn anyone about gas and acceleration. Why don?t we have a hybrid version?
