Don't let the size fool you
The IVT engine gets up to 70 mph on 95 smooth and easy. You do need to learn to drive the engine right, not just slam the pedal down. 70 mph at 2300 rpms. Handling is nimble and fun. Inside is comfortable. It is "compact," but for a couple of people and small load it's great. Average above the sticker mpg.

Perfect vehicle for all my needs!
It is easy to get in and out of, which is very important to us "older" drivers. Very comfortable and a great pleasure to drive.

Two week rental car
I was given this car as a rental for two weeks. Normally I drive a Honda CRV AWD. My first thoughts on this car was wow the interior is beautiful. heated seats, heated steering wheel... beautiful dash. The car handles very well, rides pretty nice. You step on the gas and it goes... after about a 3 second delay and a very loud noise. After about three days driving this car I began to really hate it. I am a little lady at 5'5 and I felt cramped while driving this car.. After a 40 minute drive into work it was nice to be able to get out of it and stretch. the bluetooth disconnects at the worst times and will leave you listening to nothing for 30-40 seconds only to return louder than ever. If there is any amount of snow or ice on the road be ready to be terrified even if your in "snow" mode with winter tires on. the short wheel bases makes it very unpredictable and will often send you into a wobble. Fuel milage wise I was floored...for a little car that was driven mostly is two wheel drive it burned just as much if not more than a full sized SUV. For a $40 tank of fuel I got a whopping 350kms out of it. I was shocked.. to put this into perspective I spent $45/tank in my CRV and get 575KMS when its AWD ALL THE TIME. Overall I am extremely excited to send this one back to the rental company... After you get past all the cool new gadgets and the pretty interior this car really doesn't have much to offer.

Love my little Venue
I wanted to wait a few months before forming an opinion about this car. Hubby and I bought a 2020 Venue in Galactic Grey. We adore the outer and inner appearance of the car. Storage space is adequate. When we have bigger loads the back seats fold all of the way down which is a nice feature. It doesn't have the quickest pickup when driving around, however we don't need a sports car. Took it on a 3 hour road trip and it performed beautifully. Safety features are great. I love using lane assist, while he finds it weird. The only real complaint I have is the console technology. It feels a little dated. You have to have your phone plugged into the usb port in order to use apple car play or Android auto. Not a huge deal though as bluetooth works fine for both when not hooked up. Overall we're very happy with our purchase and the 10yr/10,000 mile drivetrain warranty is fantastic. We did pay extra for the full warranty (basically everything covered except hoses, brakes, filters) but in the end it'll be worth it to avoid costly repairs. Probably not the most ideal for a family with kids. The inside isn't huge, but big enough for us.

Great gas mileage
Driving to and from Washington DC I was getting 42-44 miles to the gallon. Around the city it averaged about 32-35 mpg. Great all around car

Sensible transportation
Purchased the SE with the 6-spd manual transmission. It is a subcompact but feels roomier because of the higher CUV roofline and no arm rests in the front. A practical vehicle where I am averaging over 40 mpg in 200 miles of driving. It revs at 3,000 rpm at 70 mph so you will hear the engine working on the highway. The 15 inch wheels are on the small size for stability given the vehicle's height but are adequate. The manual transmission's ratios are tight and the shifter is flawless. Hill assist prevents rolling backwards when starting out in first gear on a hill. A novice can learn to drive this vehicle in one day. The infotainment features Apple Car play and Android Auto-both of which work seamlessly. Standard features include adjustable height driver's seat, power windows, locks, mirrors, A/C and numerous safety features. With the manual transmission, acceleration is adequate. My other car is a Hemi Charger, so by comparison this feels like driving a go kart, albeit a comfortable one. Drive one yourself. I really like this car.

Happy with our Venue
The Venue was quite a big change for me as my previous car was a Lexus RX 300 with lots of room and comfort. I am getting adjusted to the Venue and am very happy with it's performance and gas millage.

Everyone says it is adorable or cute. nice styling
My wife has a Sienna and I was looking for something around town. The Venue has style and 30 mpg in the city. It is very responsive and fun to drive. Less noisy than most small cars. I can even hear the blinker. I have only had a week and not a bit of buyers remorse. I think I am going to love this car.
