Bought my first g35x used a few years ago.

Bought my first g35x used a few years ago. Drive and maintained it with a smile. She's a sexy beast. But a guardrail at at about Nymph at 04:00 in extreme fog. Totalled the car. Bought a Maxima a few months later. . .had more amenities but, was the same driving /Comfort experience only FWD vs AWD. Totalled the maXima +damned deer jumped onto it"s hood). Now in the process of buying another Infinity same liquid platinum color (same as my first) with Dall the amenities of the Maxima and more. Haven't seen ie driven the new car yet but I'm expecting great things and many smiles from her.

Awesome Fun Ride

My 2007 G35 is a super fun car to drive. The all wheel drive comes in handy in rough weather. I've had zero problems with it and plan on keeping it forever!!!

There are better cars for the money

While this Infiniti G35x drives really great, and admittedly that’s the most important thing, I’ve been disappointed with it for a several reasons. It’s been leaking water for a year. That’s just not acceptable. I’ve already replaced the drains from the sunroof, now 14 yrs old and 80% garage kept, and it helped but doesn’t seem like that’s the entire problem. I have to replace the seals which are not sold separately, so I’m looking at $1500 just for the part. I had electrical problems early on, and had to have the doors and locks fixed twice. That could be because even though I bought it certified used with less than 15,000 miles, apparently it had been wrecked and not reported. Buying certified is supposed to prevent that. I took a train three states away to buy this particular car for the upgrades because I thought I could trust the dealer. When I got it back to my mechanic, he showed me how they had hidden the damage. I was in a pinch and couldn’t return the car. Not cool. Also, the interior finish is literally disintegrating. I’ve never seen anything like it. The door handle and dashboard finishes are literally just flaking off, and the leather seats have split several places. On a non-quality note, the cupholder is essentially useless unless you have a dwarf cup. Even the Infiniti travel cups that I bought with the car fly out frequently. And the interior is just barely too narrow to make it comfortable. My previous car was a Lexus, and hands-down I liked that car better even on its last day at 17 years old. Never had a a single problem, ever. I loved that car! My first car was a Honda Accord, and over 175,000 miles I only ever had to replace the transmission one time.

Terrible finishes.

I really.like this car but my biggest complaint was the the interior finishes. They did not last especially on the doors and steering wheel. The finishes peeled off. Very unhappy. I expected.more from infinity .

Luxury & Performance

This car is great. The interior design is nice, even has a clock which gives it a Bentley or Maserati like look. Heated seats, memory seating, great AC, sunroof, and comfortable seating, which are completely electric. The car drives great, you can feel the acceleration and control when you’re on the highway. My only con is the amount of gas this car uses. It’s not eco-friendly and you can find yourself spending more on gas.

This car is loaded out & drives like a dream. It’s stylish on the inside & out and has almost every feature you could want. I have absolutely loved owning this vehicle & will probably get another similar one in the future.
