Seats are very uncomfortable

Love the ride of my new JX35, but the seats are so uncomfortable. The headrest pushes my head forward where I feel like my chin is on my chest. I have tried adjusting the seat and cannot get comfortable. Thinking of trading it in for the Acura (which was my second choice when we were looking for a new car).

Poor Performance

Car looks great but lacks big time in performance. Yes I know it's not a sport car, but for this price you should be able to merge with confidence. The CVT transmission should be saved for the smaller cars. Don't like the unexpected reving and noise of the engine along with downshifting. The transmission never feels comfortable and constantly hunting. Very unnatural. If you are going to purchase this SUV do yourself a favor and test drive many times. Move the transmission selector switch to all spots. Drive on hills and also merge. Why they put a CVT in this beautiful SUV I will never know. When you pay this price you should be able to look good and go. Period!,,,

Excellent value for money

We purchase the jx35 last year, best decision we made. We test drive Audi q7, x5 and the Acura, the qx is the best in its class for space and value for money.

Wow, I love it

Just purchased the new Infiniti JX35 and I love it. Compared to the other vehicles in this class this one, well is just in a class of it's own. The technology features are wonderful, the ergonomics are great, it looks much cooler than the boxy offerings from the other companies and the interior is very luxurious. Can't say anything bad about it. I just hope that the reliability is as good as I expect.

Best Car in Class

I recently purchased a JX 35 (Black interior/exterior). It is truly a great car. Drove the X5-nice but too small. Q7-too expensive. Acura MDX- lots of acceleration but not as refined as JX 35. Mercedes-nice but expensive for options. JX 35 is beautiful inside and rides fantastic. As far as exciting to drive, etc., I read all those comments and just don't see it in my day to day driving in sport mode. I don't drive the car on race tracks and it has more than enough power for day to day driving. Don't let any of the comments about CVT or power scare you. The car is great...go drive it. Liked it better than any of the options above. Great value for money spent and a luxury ride.

Very nice but lacking

Purchased the JX , looks great , inside is beautiful but the transmission and power is lacking to say the least. Not a fan of the a CVT transmission. Makes the engine rev high at unexpected times and is loud. Boggs down at 1100 RPM before picking back up. Had many SUV none lacking in performance to this degree. Test drive this many times especially on hilly areas. You should not have to sacrifice at this price point.

Awesome value

For the price, you get a much better deal compared to the competing Audi Q7/Acura MDX, the JX35 is far more comfortable and is able to seat 9 person if you really try, the Premium package is the one I purchased

Good All Around Vehicle

The 2013 Infiniti JX35 can be loaded with options. The one I purchased has all of them. The 360 degree camera is phenomenal for parking either in stalls or parallel. The adaptive cruise control works exactly like it should. The upgraded theater package is well worth it if you have kids in the backseat. The overall comfort and ride quality are the best I've experienced in an SUV. I've previously owned a QX56 and three Jeep Grand Cherokees. The JX drives more like a car. This vehicle doesn't feel nearly as top-heavy as other SUVs. Performance is lacking but is mitigated by improved mileage. I'm still getting used to the styling but it's wearing on me. The interior is well appointed and is very comfortable. The controls are within reach and are laid out well. This is my third overall Infiniti and I find it to have some of the best value for the money. The reliability is yet to be tested on this fairly new car but my experience with Infiniti's has been flawless thus far.

2013 Infiniti JX35 AWD

Overall it's a good vehicle, but here are the con's: -CVT transmission is lame. Very slow off the line unless you floor it. Same with passing. -For a $40k+ vehicle, it doesn't come with homelink for your garage door opener or a drivers side memory seat as standard equipment. Not sure if I made the right decision over my runner up, the Acura MDX.

Off to a good start

We just leased the JX with the premium package and really enjoy the great deal we received from Crest Infiniti (ask for Jon Bellamy). The car is stable at high speeds and quiet. We traded our fully loaded Odyssey Touring, outside of reduced cargo space we don't envision going back to another mini van. I will post another update after 90 days to see if my views change. Great car if you are considering the new Pathfinder this is a better option for a lease do the much higher residual value, your payments should only differ by $25 - $40 a month. The Infiniti Connect is also an added plus.
