Jag-u-ar, not Miata...

I have two Jaguars. The first a 2001 XK8, I bought in 2015 from the original owner. The 2nd, a 2007 XK, I bought after the original owner traded it in to a dealer in Oregon. I had it shipped to me in Alabama. Both are a similar Pacific Blue, the 07 being Indigo Blue, slightly darker. The 01 has Ivory interior, the 07 has beige. The 01 has quite a bit of recurring maintenance from a host of items that needed redesigning, which was accomplished on the 07. Everything needed was done. The big differences between the two cars is trunk space and cabin space. The 07 Cabin accommodates a taller person where the trunk on the 01 would hold a VW Beetle and easily close. I redesigned the 01 upper shock mounts and rebuilt the mounts with new polyurethane bushings that should outlast me. I have replaced them with OEM 3 times since 2015. That chirping sound you hear is the shock mounts, metal to metal chirping. Anyway, the 01 XK8 is a nice automobile that needs near constant attention. The 07 XK is a Super Luxury GT sports car that is easy to maintain and so far, bulletproof. Nothing that I have driven in it's class compares equally. Everything else has a harsher ride and are regular sports cars. I have owned Corvettes, BMW's, Acura's, Mercedes and Porsche's. None compare. So far, I've had people compliment me on my Miata (the 01) and Corvette (both the 01 & the 07)... Jaguar is a brand of only a few in my location... very rare and no one knows what it is... up close, they just can't read, I guess. The guy was staring at the Jaguar emblem when he called it the best looking Miata he had ever seen. LOL!

Beautiful automobile inside and Out

This car is smooth riding and looks fantastic. I am 6 feet and I fit comfortably in this ride. Very reliable and maintenance free. Truly a head-turner everywhere you go. I have 3 Jags (xk8, XF & XK) and this is one of my favorites. Drive it--you will see what I mean.

Luxury Class

This vehicle checks all the boxes I had hoped for in a low mileage, well maintained convertible. A pleasure to drive - a real head turner - quality inside and out, very smooth - excellent workmanship and very easy to operate.

FUN, FUN, FUN!!!!

Great car for an escape as well as everyday use. Long wheelbase for comfort for the longer drives and manual paddle shifts for the fun trips!

Stunning car

This car is a beautiful head-turner. Very quick. Very comfortable - suspension not too hard for a European sports car but hardens in 'sport' mode. Has rear seats which are virtually impossible to sit in, but make useful extra storage. Big trunk. Nice audio but old nav system. Excellent safety features.

2007 Jaguar XK purchased November 2019

This car is in excellent condition inside and out. It runs great and handles like it’s on rails. It’s a perfect car for having fun on the weekend.

I love this car.

What a great car, unbelievable ride, comfort, power and luxury all put together. So far, I have replaced the rear tires, front and rear brake pads and rotors as I bought it with 39,000 miles. I have polished it with a ceramic coating that also enhances the beauty of the car. As far as appearance goes it is like poetry in motion. I sold a 2004 Corvette and while I love Corvettes, the quality and luxury of the Jaguar is unmatched by the Vet. There is even some good trunk room left after the top goes down, unlike my 2011 Infiniti G37 Convertible. Alpine stereo offers great sound and base. I totally enjoy driving it in the city or highway, you will too.

Handles So Well

This is absolutely the best car we've owned. I've always loved the way European cars handle and the Jaguar ranks with the best. The interior is gorgeous and so comfortable. My husband is 6'5" and he loves riding in it. We retired our Cadillac and can't wait to put some miles on it.
