Previous owner of same yr and model

My only reasons I sold mine was 1st. The restricted performance mode. No other American made supercharged car has this idiotic and dangerous mode. 2nd. The dealers rip you off for parts purchases. I needed a new engine start button. $210.00? For a plastic button likely made in china for 35c.

AWSOME is a small word

Made me feel young and adventurous. Can drive 100 in 9 seconds. A guy magnet. So classy, built in Great Britain. Wish they were as beautiful today

Best car I've ever owned

How do I even begin? Well, it started with just sitting in a pre-owned 2010 Jag XK over two years ago for about 10 minutes, and without even test driving it I was hooked just because of the features, styling, and incredible comfort. I even test drove a Porsche Cayman and have owned a BMW 328 and Z4, and nothing compares. I didn't get the Jag back then because the price was still too high for my taste, but recently got lucky and found this perfect black beauty XKR with black interior and convertible at a great price with low miles. And the performance specs with supercharger rival current 2017 high end vehicles. The only words I can think of to describe it are, "What a machine."

I enjoy driving this fine car. My 3rd Jag.

There is no car that can come close to this machine-----maybe the Turbo Porsche 9-11 but they are so noisy you cannot even turn the radio on when driving 70 mph-----The XKR is even quiet at 100 mph. On the German roads you can cruise at 140 mph. No maintenance issues. When the car sits in the garage and not being driven---I hook up a trickle charger to the battery plug in the trunk and hook the ground wire to the exhaust pipe. This keeps all the ele systems running good. I have had the battery trickle charger on for 3 months at a time when I am traveling overseas. A great machine.

Beauty and the Blast

Long time fantasy of mine and then it came true with my currrent and only 07 XKR. Warning....don't test drive one if you don't plan to buy it. Everything else in the class will disappoint you. Keep your warranty up to date, things are expensive to repair although 80K miles later I only had a single issue. Command center is a bit antiquated but functional and at 5'10" I would have liked the pitch of the backrest a couple degrees further or a deeper bucket so my legs stretch out more naturally. This was solved in the '14 model with the sick racing seats. Remember its about torque so you get way more for your Horsepower money compared to cars with higher HPs. Instant James Bond. Is there life after XKR?

Finest Luxury Sports Car

The XKR is a quite and luxurious automobile. This car offers sleek exterior design, quite interior, and high performance when it is aked for. Jaguar offers the most beautiful interiors of any automaker in the world. This is my 3rd Jaguar and it has been extremely reliable. JD Powers as awarded Jaguar service and reliablity extremely high in the last several years - and righfully so. Yes, the repairs cost may be expensive at the time of repairs, but this is not an issue if you elect to maintain an extended warranty plan. This is the finest car avaible, even against Lexus, BMW and Mercedes.

Pass With Class - Speed/Comfort/Style

4th Jag - 3rd "R" model - "R" Jags do not get the credit that they well deserve. Is such a great car that I don't want to get rid of it. Even gets decent hiway mileage (way higher than rated). Handles great - looks great - quality materials - minimal repairs. Paint is among the best in the industry and Jag interiors have always been praised. I receive compliments virtually every time I stop. Jags past reputation for poor quality should be put to rest for good. The car is superb in every way.
