We bought our Jeep new, still have it today, 3-1-2017, ten years put 99,000 miles on it. Very fast, fun SUV. Comfortable, reliable. If worried about gas milage, don't get this one, as a 420 HP V8 Hemi is not an economy car. The best thing about this Jeep is how fast it is and the good looks. Will outperform $120,000 turbo Porsche SUV from same era, still does a 13.2 second 1/4 mile at ten years old. Resale value is still ok or above average. The worst item or flaw with these Jeeps is the stock Goodyear run flat tires, and no factory spare or place to carry a spare. If you get one of these, get modern all season conventional tires, and AAA road side insurance. The reason they don't have a spare tire at all, either full size or space saver is the center exhaust takes away any spot for a spare. The OEM tires are supposed to be run flats, but they have severe premature tread separation issues, and if the side wall blows out from this, it is a moot point if they are run flats or not, your gonna be calling for a tow no matter what. But, overall a has been a good rig, will be getting the Hellcat Jeep when available later in 2017.

DO NOT BUY THE 5.7L HEMI! You will regret it! Loved everything else about this car. Had the Overland edition, so many luxurious features like auto lights and high beams, auto rain sensing wipers, great sound system, sunroof, comfortable leather/suede seats. The power of the hemi was awesome... until it started stalling every 5 minutes. Not an exaggeration.. every. 5. minutes, Went to multiple dealers to find the problem, no one ever did. Complaints are all over the internet. Wish I saw them before I bought it. Would usually just stall on highways and in traffic, but then it stalled while making a turn, lost power steering, almost ended up flying into a brick building. So that's where I drew the line. Was in the shop for 29 days before they gave it back and said they can't fix it. Save yourself the headache and get the v6.

I purchased a used 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (Hemi; Quadra-Drive II; Navigation; tow package; back-up camera) with 74K miles in January 2015. As of January 2016 I have 95K miles on it and so far it has been great. The Hemi has plenty of power and is fun to drive. The ride is comfortable in my opinion and I feel very safe while driving it. Fuel mileage is as expected for a Hemi V8 and fulltime 4wd; I get about 17mpg on the highway and 12-13mpg city (with a Flowmaster exhaust & cold-air intake). For the majority of the first year I had a 70 mile round trip commute to work so I logged a lot of time behind the wheel. I have owned two Jeep Cherokee's before this Grand Cherokee (a 1999 and 2001) and this Grand Cherokee is night and day from the Cherokee's in terms of comfort and and amenities.

Grand Cherokee is over priced just like all Jeep products. It does run, handle and drive good. I think it would be the top selling car if they lowered the price a bit.

Few things or people can be relied on as well as this vehicle. Sexy, reliable, strong - Loyal! My first Hemi engine turns out to be a pleasant surprise for fuel use, and the power is smooth for running in VA and mountains of WVA.

Without a doubt the worst vehicle I have ever owned in my 61 years of driving. Bought it used with 42,000 miles drove it for one year.Dash lights went out,$300.00 repair,replaced brakes and rear bearing $1200.00 ,struts on hood and rear tailgate $150.00,wipers,transmission pan leaked $260.00,Cruise control was fixed by north high street dealer in Worthington,Ohio where I bought the Vehicle from. They delivered the vehicle with one key. After about a month owning this thing it developed an ''odor'' I was never able to get rid of. There was one previous owner. This cherokee would pass everything but a gas station. It was a real gas hog and the full time 4 wheel drive was/transmission was a joke. No wonder there are 264 of them for sa le on cars .com. Beware!!!!!!!!!!!

I am very pleased with my Jeep purchase. I bought at a dealer, and I was a little afraid of getting a shady deal because of, you know, used car sales people. I test drove it and I knew right away that this was the right fit and type of car for me. It suits my lifestyle perfectly. The sales person was super, gave me a great deal---below blue book!!! I've had the Jeep 4 months now and it has been a dream. No problems AND they gave me a 90 day warranty and honored it by replacing a window motor for free. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this 4 year old car. I expect it to last me at least 5 years with minimal expenses, and I can trade it in again and get another good deal. Perfect!
