2008 Jeep Liberty consumer reviews

My 2008 Jeep Liberty Limited had the full sky view cloth roof, I bought it used in 2012. This vehicle was the biggest piece of crap I've ever owned. The roof wouldn't close, so I duck taped it shut because I wasn't investing over $2,000 to fix it considering that the Jeep itself was such a lemon. Even before the top stopped working, it leaked from day one, and the roof was so loud (closed) when you drove that you couldn't even carry on a conversation. Everything you can imagine starting going out on this Jeep not long after purchasing it. It was a serious money pit and the electrical system was always acting up, I'm sure because of the leaky roof. Even if you want a Jeep, please don't buy the 2008 model with the cloth sky view top, you will most certainly regret it and constantly be putting money into this vehicle!

Nice over all. The biggest problem is the sliding roof repaired 2 time and still broken. When it rains or snow water comes inside. I have researched and talked to owners and they all say the same thing Chrysler know about it but on't care and wont fix

No complaints...loved it....even happier now that i have purchased the 2009 Jeep Liberty Limited Edition...Andre, makes you feel welcomed and answers all your questions. Will continue to purchase my vehicles from here

I would like to say this is a solid well built vehicle and I would recommend anyone looking for a SUV try a Jeep liberty. It reminds me of a humvee but drives better.

Problems from the start. 2 years in needs a new transmission, engine light on, AC and heat do not work. Prestige Auto mart did not help at all, brought it back twice. Could just be this particular car but would not buy again.

Just purchased this vehicle this week and so far it feels great! The exterior and interior design are very nice and stylish. Power could be somewhat better but it gets up and goes when need be, so no major complaints there. I was slightly disappointed that cruise control was not a feature included on all models, as well as steering wheel radio controls. However, I found these features could be added fairly easily and also at little expense. This vehicle has a solid reliability rating with very minimal issues other than certain electrical issues. Only time will tell if they end up surfacing. Overall amazing vehicle!

I have been trying to buy a Jeep Liberty 2008 model or higher for over a year now. It's everything i have been looking for.

Great vehicle, have always loved Jeep and am so happy that I decided to purchase one. When I decide on a vehicle in the future again I will consider a Jeep!

quite running, smooth quite ride, plenty of power, heater and a/c work great, has good tires, very clean inside and out. just what I need for an every day driver.

Just bought 2008 Jeep Liberty. Runs great so far and it's a total package . It's a great upgrade from my last 2000 Jeep Cherokee had it 5 years then the motor ceased up in it . Hope to get another 5 years from the Liberty .
