2009 Jeep Liberty consumer reviews

My parents bought this new back in 2009 and after a car accident that totaled my first truck (01 Chevy S10), my mom gave me this and I love every bit of it!! I’ve had it in my possession about 5 years now and it’s such a fun vehicle. The 4WD is amazing and it’s capabilities are really impressive! With the right driving on a trail, lifted truck owners look at me sometimes and say “Ain’t no way a Liberty did that!”. It’s a solid SUV. I use mine as both a daily and a weekend warrior (not too hard because I have to drive it home) and it’s a great vehicle all in all! Gas mileage could be a little better but it’s a V6 Jeep, what do you expect. I highly recommend this vehicle to anyone who wants to get into Overlanding or anyone who just wants a fun Jeep for their buck! Keep up with maintenance (as you should with every vehicle) and it’ll treat you right! The selections only let me choose “New” or “Used” but I’d say both because it was new to my Mom and Dad but used obviously when I got it. Along with “Primary Use”, I use it to both commute to work and have some fun but it would only let me choose one.

Vehicle gets great gas mileage & love the four-wheel drive for snowy days!! Love the interior it’s very comfortable. Exterior is very attractive. Vehicle drives very smoothly for a Jeep. Sometimes it could be rough.

I have a jeep liberty 09 and it has a sun sliding roof and it will not close all the way I didn’t know there’s going into buying the car that the roof would have so many problems now my car is a mobile swimming pool

Bigger than I wanted but in budget, a little over priced compared to those I've seen. But running well, gets up my steep driveway with ease. In winter we'll see if that holds true.

Never had any issues with this car what so ever. Good reliable car. Just want a truck that’s why I’m selling. Good first car or even family car.

Prior to retiring I depended on this Liberty to get me to in from work in any and all weather conditions. It never let me down. I actually looked forward to driving in snow and inclement weather. It tracked steady and straight.

A real beauty of a vehicle and rides great. Love it ! it's a real head turner, I don't want to park it, I'm like a kid with a new toy.

I love my Jeep, but it’s to a phase where I am beginning to have to fix or replace parts. The problem with that is some of the parts are now obselete. I need the parts for my vehicle to be safe, but you can’t get them anymore. Not sure I’ll buy another Jeep. It does me no good to buy a car a love if I can’t get the parts to fix it when I need to. Seriously thinking of trading it in.

Has regular plug and usb.rides smooth.sits tall which nice for person that is average height or taller.Seats are easy to adjust for comfortability.Front seats are heated which nice when it is cold outside.This is first that I have owned and the seats are heated

So far, so good. It’s a bit too early to be writing a review for this car. We just bought it. We love everything about it so far.
