Great value

Patriot Sport 5 speed manual very basic package. After test driving quite a few of its competitors I decided to buy the Patriot. Unmistakable Jeep styling, pretty tight and controlled ride, roomy and an unexpectedly good fuel economy 28-29 mpg even though the truck is so new. Too soon to comment of reliability but with such a basic model there must be fewer things to break down. Power is adequate at least with the manual. I took four adults om a 50 mile trip and all complemented the ride and the interior space.

Very Nice Car

We are pleased with our purchase and satisfied with what we paid for the unit. There are a couple of things are not on our hit parade. 1) The cloth seats need to go. Very uncomfortable when trying to adjust. Not to mention I have the ability to attract enough static to really shock me good when I exist this car. Am considering replacing with leather but too expensive through dealership. 2) The auto transmission seems to always be down shifting due to a slight decrease in speed or a slight uphill slope in the road. 3) To rate the reliability of this car accurately we need to drive it a while longer. Therefore, I responded average at this time.

the Jeep Patriot Oscar is a very safe vwhicle with many standard features, the car gives a very solid ride, with many features others charge extra for. We would have kied a back up feature for free but there was no option

2014 Jeep Patriot Latitude....LOVE THIS SUV!

I Drove everything on their lot and this one last. I'm glad I did! It has sun roof, remote start, rear wiper, heated seats and mirrors, Bluetooth phone capability, voice recognition, controls on the wheel for radio, cruise control, elec windows and mirrors, satellite radio, 9 speakers, one set drops when you open the tail gate (if you drop them down) for outside sound. Heated seats, mirrors, freedom II package, awd and 4wd. Start up from a stop feels slower than it really is (everytime I look in my rearview mirror no on is on my tail when taking off from a stop light and I don't gun it). It cruises exquisitely, feels stable on turns, great insulation from outside noise, great driver windshield view with few blind spots in rear. Cargo space is what you would expect from a mid size suv, seats drop flat including passenger seat. They also recline fully back. Good room for my dogs and they are lab size. I love driving this car! Great sound, great performance. I would recommend this to everyone! Though I only have 200 miles on it, I hope it lasts and lasts because they are discontinuing this model after this year. Too bad......., they have a good thing, why change it? I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and loved it. Really missed it after trading it for a Kia. Kia lasted 6 years w/ no trouble when I traded for this SUV. But let's face it, once a jeep owner always a Jeep Owner.! I will say I wouldn't buy a used one, never know what they have been put through with towing and all the off road stuff. I think with regular oil changes and maintenance upkeep it will last a long long time. I haven't found any reviews with problems on this model. Crossing my fingers! Now, go test drive one, you won't be disappointed.

not a car, not a truck, nice basic combo

My new Patriot has more cargo space than a car, less than a truck, more comfort than most trucks, but less than a car, sits higher than a car, but lower than an SUV, with generally good visibility. Overall, it's a nice 'compromise, utility' vehicle for the cost.

Reliable and fuel efficient

I originally planned on buying a used 2008 jeep. I loved it. I got annoyed at a particular dealership and left...but I really wanted the jeep. So I went to another dealership and decided to lease the 2014 Jeep Patriot Latitude...so glad that I did. It handles very well and I get great mileage out of it. I plan on buying this jeep when the lease is up.

Great Family SUV

The Patriot is a good car and I am absolutly happy with it. I love the rustic Jeep look. 2014 has the 6sp. auto which is great but it should have tweeked the HP up to 190 or more, then it would be a 5 star SUV. If you get a CVT it will take a little time to get use to but you will love the 21-23 city/27-29 highway mpg it gets you. In my opion if you buy a 2 wheel drive, it is not a Jeep. Finding a car you will be happy with is most important, negotiating the price is second and third is finding a dealer that will still love you after you buy the car which is near impossible.
