Wonderful Jeep real special vehicle

Excellent vehicle. Meets all our needs. Fun to drive. Four wheel drive makes the difference. 33 k miles should last a long time. The Jeep is sweet

It would be a great success but for a few things

Solid 4 wheel drive, under powered 2.4 l straight ,I Uber so trips into the mountain with three people plus there lugagge in the back and 4 sets of ski on top is a real challenge .this is not a big SUV .short wheel base which seats 4 that's 3plus the driver only 4 seatbelts .so I'll recap again good-- Good 4×4 & suspension Uconnect Heated seats and mirrors 17 inch rims The bad --- Underpowered 2.4l straight 4 engine A cvt transmission that has no dipstick to check /add fluid if needed .that's a dealer thing and they want about 200 for the service All the recalls the Patriot has had Replaced all four bearings @60000 due to bad design interior on the latitude edition is very basic

I thought I was buying a Jeep

Very small inside and out. You would think the 2.4l motor would do better than 15 per gal round town. She is a Latitude trail rated 4x4 and very noisy while driving. Expect a lot of what did you say to your passenger while driving. I'm guessing its the steel plate from the radiator to the gas tank that hold the road noise in the passenger compartment.

Does everything well

Perfect city car. I got the basic sport and love it. Got 4x4 when I need it. Good cargo space. 4 cylinder is good on gas and I have the 5 speed stick shift so it feels a little like a race car. Very fun to drive. I never got stuck and had no problems so far. I did add a sound system and knobby tires. People say it's not powerful enough but it's more than capable. With the manual transmission I can down shift for a little extra passing power on the highway and chirp the tires every time I take off if I want. It's that perfect medium car. Not too big, not too small, not fast, not slow. It is surprisingly roomy. It's the first thing passengers will comment on when they get in. Sad they stopped making them

Nicest compact I've ever owned

This vehicle meets my needs & getting it serviced is extremely easy & quick. It is always fun to see all the other Jeep Patriots that are on the road in the same area that I live.

Zippy 2.4,bouncy

I bought my 2014 Jeep Patriot used, but not abused, one owner, highway high milage.Hugs the ground and hills like a happy jumpy magnet, and is a super shiny black. Not a blemish on it,in,out,or under.Really fun to drive,so comfotable,6 speed,Boston Sound, moon roof, satellite radio, etc.Big enough to hold cargo, fold flare front seat also, small enough not to rob you at the pump.Drives like a sleepingaventure, waiting to happen on a pedals notice, and brake assist is amazing, telepathic electronics.I love mine.

Cheap quality vehicle!

The quality of the vehicle is not that good! Rides kind of rough. Overall just a cheap quality vehicle! I wouldn't buy one of these.
