2017 Jeep Renegade consumer reviews

I would buy again, long term reliability is to be determined. Good looking vehicle inside and out, engine is fine contrary to other reviews. Lots of cool amenities.

This car worked well for a family of four. Plenty of space for cargo, trips to the beach, and traveling with kids. My wife loved driving on the beach in Daytona in her Red Jeep!

It is by far one of the best deals on mileage and comfort in driving. Great selection , color and the convenience for traveling with lots of features that I've never had in my other vehicles.

Very well equipped SUV, love all the extra commodities included, very comfortable, smooth drive and ride. Love the leather seats, able to sit high enough for a good view for driving.

We bought this suv for a second jeep to run around town in. It is very maneuverable in parking lots, but don't expect high mileage. It has good performance for a 4cy engine in a fairly light weight suv. The interior is layed out good, but the fabric is black and shows marks if something light in color rubs against it. In all, a fun vehicle to drive.

I have 21,000 miles on a 2017 Jeep renegade bought new 8/2017 , great in winter, interior and cargo room is tight, speaker /radio problems three times speakers left dash and left door speakers stop working, oil consumption on 2.4 is about a quart and a half between factory recommended oil changes, which dealership says is normal , engine light went on for misfire bank one dealership could not find a problem, when you need to hit the gas pedal to get moving sometimes acceleration cuts out, scares the crap out of you, I constantly here bad reviews on this Jeep renegade but I bought extended warranty so I feel I am covered in case stuff starts going wrong. I also feel on other hand I should trade it in now before things go bad, weird electrical stuff happens on and off nothing that you really can take to dealership till 100% stops working, rear hatch would not close sometimes key fob stops working on locking and unlocking vehicle. Speaker warning light still comes on and off from time to time, transmission shifts funny at start something/jerky . Probably would not buy another renegade , best thing going for the Jeep renegade is looks and winter driving it’s a tank in the snow, I run 4 studded snows can go through anything, I have not seen reviews on Jeep renegade with long time owners with higher miles , wondering how they are after years and miles are put on?

The engine burns too much oil and you'll need to replace your motor. Corporate side will make you jump through hoops to get a new motor if you're lucky enough to realize it while still covered under warranty. OH, and you're car shuts down without any warnings going off and 1500 miles away from anticipated oil change.

I love this jeep, the styling, comfort&size are all perfect, it was a great price at 17k w only 18,344 miles, only complaint is the gas mileage in the city is only 16.5 mpg, but 24.5 mostly highway. Looking forward to see how the 4X4 does in the winter.

It meets all of my needs. I was looking for something with 4 wheel drive, space for my kids, and small enough for me to handle. It works perfectly for what i need.
