Unigue and fun
Just got my wife a 2018 Latitude/Altitude, 1.4L turbo and 6-speed manual. It is LOADED and murdered out (black on black on black), every option but remote start and Technology Package (only available with auto trans). 18" gloss black wheels and dual-pane electric sunroof too. It doesn't feel like a cheap starter-car. I drove it a couple of hundred miles on July 4th. Power is adequate, it moves with authority at highway speeds, and the gear ratios are actually pretty good. You don't need 6th gear until after 70 mph. Once you turn off that goofy hill-start-assist it's easy to be smooth with the take-off and shifts. The interior has a quality feel and it's quiet inside. She liked it because it doesn't look like every other compact crossover/SUV and it's easy in/out. I liked the automatic 4-wheel-drive and the 4 wheel drive 'lock' setting for keeping her planted in bad weather. All in all, I like the damned thing. It's actually fun to drive.

Can't say much because I've only had it 3 weeks.
I bought my Renegade out of necessity, not want. I drove a full size pickup, with only power windows and locks. The Jeep Renegade Limited has more bells, whistles and settings than I ever thought a car could have. At first it's a bit overwhelming. It drives well. The suspension is impressive on roads loaded with pot holes. The interior and cargo space are bigger than you'd think looking at the exterior. The engine sounds a bit strange while accelerating (I'm used to visit engines) and I can't help but laugh. I joke that it's trying to sound tough, but failing. Not that this effects anything but my feelings. I haven't gotten to use the 4WD as of yet, but the control for it is in an inconvenient spot. It's above a storage space and my husband locks the 4WD accidently, on a regular basis. It's also got the automatic/manual shifter, and the slightest bump to the shifter while in drive will put it in manual mode. That's a bit disconcerting when you're driving and suddenly the gears don't shift! With a 4 cylinder engine it only averages about 22 mpg when highway driving. Overall it's a decent vehicle for it's size and the amount of time I've driven it.

I thought it was love
Bought it brand new, 13 miles on it. Absolutely loved it. My husband and 3 small children went for dinner, it now has 627 miles... that's it. Made it half way home, and the gas light comes on. There was half a tank. Then it starts flashing service air bag, and every other service warning and my husband pulls over and shuts off the car. It wouldn't start back, wouldnt even roll the windows down. Said fuel system shut off, and flashing all the warning lights. After sitting for 1 1/2 hours waiting on a tow truck in 100 degree weather we're finally home. I just bought a brand new car... paid $25k and not even 1k miles and it left my family and I stranded in 100 degree weather. No way! I am beyond furious!

Everyone loves my new Renegade
This Renegade is so adorable. She comfortably carries all her passengers, and I get so many compliments on how great she looks. This car is fun to drive (especially with the manual transmission), the uconnect system is a huge plus, and she has plenty of cargo room.
