very economical to drive and plenty of pep
This is the only vehicle we have and like its performance and style. Takes off like a jack rabbit , turns on a dime and agile brakes.

WOW! I Love this car!
I own a 2015 EX premium. This is our 5th KIA. This car is amazing! It has enough power, loaded with features and is gorgeous! KIA please make the Optima AWD. It is the only improvement I would recommend. PA. winters can be bad. I am 60 years old and love this car more than any I have owned! My wife loves her 2015 Optima EX too !

The engine will go out prematurely
The car was great at first. Then the engine failed on the 3 year old one owner car. I had just over 100,000 miles and the car was maintenance regularly.

Unsafe Car with "Undaignosable" Electrical Issues
Bought the car used with 12,000 miles, after a year and a half it's around 40,000 miles. Suddenly one night coming home from work all of the warning lights on the dashboard come on and the car starts losing power. By the time I'm close to my apartment my power steering is almost completely gone, my lights are out and the radio is dead. AAA jumps the car thinking the battery was dead and that's it. I try driving the car to the dealership and the same thing happens again an hour into the ride. Car is jumped so I can make it to the dealer. Dealer gets the car and says they cannot recreate the issue. We submit the car to a major Kia sevice center and they also cannot recreate the issue. Two weeks later the issue happens again on my way into work, except everything goes to hell even faster. I can barely pull off the highway before my power steering fails. I no longer feel safe in this car and will be trading it in this weekend. Kia is worthless saying they don't know what to do when the third time I even had a diagnostic tool with codes tell them what was wrong. Will never buy Kia again.

Stay away from Kia. Car constantly needed oil.
Engine failure due to the exact same problem they recalled 2011-2014 vehicles with the defective GDI engine for. $7000 repair. I'll ever buy another Kia. The car will NOT make it between oil changes without having to add several quarts. No leaks, no smoke, oil just vanishes without a trace. Now I have a knock and a P1326 code and guess what that means, a new engine due to a worn connecting rod bearing. Apparently Kia knows that the engine has a defect the restricts oil flow to key engine components which causes premature wear and metal debris in the oil to cause and accelerate engine damage. So now I'm left to figure out how to get this covered by Kia outside of the recall year range. I'm so frustrated and angry and will never buy another Kia and I will use every form of communication to get the word out to warn people about this brand.

Great car to own
This car is stylish, roomy, and exterior is up there with the $40,000 cars. Runs quiet and only have 1 problem,..I just wish that the passenger seat was a little higher. The driver seat rises but the passenger seat doesn't. How can you not make a passenger seat that can raise up. If the passenger is 5ft 5 then all they see is the glove compartment! There is no button to raise the seat so the passenger can see out the front window! Help
