My first car and I love it.

I was looking for a car with good mpg cause of haveing to drive a hour to work and back home. This car is great on gas and fun to drive.

Way better then My 75k pickup for reliability.....

One of My first new car that I don't have to go back to the dealer for troubles. I did only oil change so far. And no problem in very cold weather, starting, heat and overall performance. Fuel economy is very good. Quality price vs equipment is good too...

Best value for the money reserching 4 other models

Great styling inside and out. Love the safety, technology, price and warranty. The most comfortable of the sub compacts I tried out and the features standard on the Rio S model made it hands down the best choice.

Excellent handling, realiable

Having owned this car for 3 months, I find it exactly what I want in a car: handling, acceleration (small car), stylish inside and out, economical. good room (again, small car), technology. phone hookup, screen readout. It took me about two years from renting this car when traveling, to decide to trade-in my very good 2014 Corolla S for a Rio S.

Most reliable car I've every owned

The main "downfall" (if you can call it that) is that it sacrifices backseat space for having a decent trunk, but that saves me gas and I get great mileage compared to my old car. The interior I rated so low because it's just cheap and scratches way too easily. Don't miss the USB port when plugging in your phone, you'll scratch your car...

Nice comfortable car

I bought the 2019 Rio s in deep sea blue after my bankruptcy wanted something cheap that I could get paid off quick and would not have payments long, the s trim you get more features than the lx like center console and armrest cruise control folding rear seat remote keyless entry with alarm and trunk opener, and on the s you can get the tech package with included forward collision and emergency braking ,led headlights Sirius XM radio and few other things kias uvo telematics . Average like 36 -38 mpg but have gotten 45 on hwy . Good price and you get alot of value , and I only paid 15-16 k for the car

Un drivable on windy day

Nice car until you drive on windy day. The car is all over the road while on the interstate when it’s windy. Scary to drive.

Classy and stylish

Love the way this car looks ,handled and the gas mileage is unbelievable. I really liked having a smaller car instead of a bigger one.

Car drives well, don't like Android Auto/Bluetooth

We've only owned this car a week. So far I like the way it drives. We have a 2015 Kia Soul and this drives similar. It's a bit smaller but not too small. It's comfortable. However...the Android Auto / Bluetooth system is not what I wanted. In the Kia Soul, you can make hands free phone calls from your steering wheel with just the Bluetooth. In the Kia Rio 2019 you cannot. You have to have your phone connected to the car with a USB cable before you can make a call. The dealership didn't explain any of this to me or offer to help me set up the Android Auto system and it took me days to get it going because the car would not recognize my phone. I had to go back to the dealership 3 times to try and get help. One of my problems was my phone, but I had no way of knowing that. I finally did a factory reset and then I could actually get my phone to connect. So, if you buy this, make the dealership help you before you leave with your car. I'm still not sure about how I like the rest of Android Auto. My bluetooth does not always connect automatically on the car, and nothing works right without that. It will let you use Google Maps and different radio apps, which is nice, but if the bluetooth does not hook up, you can't have Google Maps working correctly. Also, this car does not have Sirius, which I wasn't aware of till I got home and tried to hook up my free trial.
