Great value, fantastic family vehicle

My wife are welcoming our 3rd child in April 2019 and we bought a certified pre-owned 2015 Sedona LX in Nov 2018. We love the van. It drives smoothly, the turn radius is impressive, it's roomy inside with nice interior features, it's got plenty of power, and the gas mileage is good for a minivan (we get 27 mpg on the highway. In general we average 21.5 mpg). It drives quietly at high speeds and has an adequate sound system. The touch screen is a good size and the backup camera view is clear and easy to see. We are very happy with our purchase.

They are fair weather vehicles

Just after we purchased it we began to have problem with the poser sliding doors, there was a RECALL on both doors. We used it more for traveling, we have two Service Dogs and during the summer we needed additional room for Grand Children. We had to have windshield washer pump replaced and then the Doors done a second time around 48,000 miles. We took a trip to Pa. in November at the middle of the month, we ran into a light snow. The windshield wiper motor failed the dealer there fixed it "The dealer made what he called a TEMPORARY repair to get us back to Florida, At the same time both of the front wheel well liners fell down on the tires. The dealer in Pa. told me that KIA wouldn't replace the parts. I was happy with the first KIA but the second wasn't the same quality. I contacted KIA two months ago and they haven't responded.

Feels like a luxury car

This car was a blast to test drive. The engine has a great punch and the car does really well with bumps and pot holes. If you are looking for a van that will be reliable and give you a smooth quite ride i highly recommend the Kia Sedona. The features you get with the Sedona SX is definitely worth it. I would highly recommend this car infact we bout 2 one for me and one for my brother.

The Un-minivan

I call this the un-minivan because it feels way more like a crossover to drive than a minivan. It handles well for a vehicle of its size, and has plenty of get up and go! This is a fully loaded Sedona - heated and cooled front seats, overhead camera system, heated steering wheel, two large sun roofs, two Napa leather all the way around, 19" chrome wheels, adaptive cruise control, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, and the list goes on. There are a few things that I was surprised that the Sedona does not have that my 2015 Hyundai Sonata does have considering that they have basically the same Vehicle Management console. We are missing a tire pressure monitoring system that displays all four tires in real time, electronic parking brake with auto hold, and the Stop & Go feature in the adaptive cruise control (the Sedona will automatically turn the system off if you are in bumper-to-bumper traffic or not maintaining the desired speed for certain amount of time whereas in the Sonata, it will stay on until you turn it off). Aside from those missing features and a bit of a stiff ride, an excellent overall value and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a 7 passenger crossover or a minivan. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for quality is because the first time I had to open the hood, I couldn't get it closed again because the hood latch needed some lubrication. A quick trip to the dealer resolved that in 5 minutes.

Excellent! Nothing to complain about.

Terrific family car. Even though we did not have automatic sliding doors, the side doors on this vehicle are the smoothest and easiest to operate of any minivan I've had (Grand Caravan, Sienna). Never one problem in 3 years of ownership.

Best Bang For Your Buck

This van is VERY nice. I used to drive a 1990 Toyota Corolla and then went to a 2008 Hyundai Elantra and thought it was the best car ever. Now going from my Elantra to this van, I feel the same way. It drives SO smooth and is super practical. Note that it?s the SX-L model (highest trim) so it has all the bells and whistles. We splurged on the luxury trim because we had to have the extra features. The all-four-sides camera system for parking and reverse is a life saver! That along with the adapative aka ?smart? cruise control are easily my favorite features. Makes driving on the highway a breeze. The leather seats are comfy, especially when you use the heated/cooled settings. We took 4 adults and a 2yr old w/ car seat to the beach and everyone was comfy. We still had plenty of room for all our beach stuff as well. I love how there?s so many sensors, it makes me feel safe and aware. Sliding doors are always better than your average open-at-an angle door! The exterior is black with chrome accents, 19? rims, a beautiful front grill. It?s a sexy yet classy van that honestly looks more like an SUV than a minivan. My only ?unsurprising disappointment? is that it averages 20mpg. But, we knew that going into buying a minivan, so it?s fine. I?m so glad we got a good deal on this vehicle because it is wonderful, and it didn?t have to be an Odyssey, Sienna, or Pacifica. Way to go KIA!

Great family vehicle

The Kia Sedona is a great family van for moms who need the space, but don't want the ugly soccer mom van. The sporty look complete with the back spoiler and sleek body lines make it stylish and cute without giving up on the conveniences you need when you're hauling your family around. Fold up and in seats make it perfect for moving or even picking up materials for a project. Ours was the 8 passenger model, which was equipped with a second row jump seat. Even though we rarely needed that 8th seat, it provided a great cup holder for the middle row passengers. I would have kept this vehicle longer if my children were still young and I needed the extra space. It was perfect for a family and pets for a long trip. The only concern was that the road noise was a little loud and the second and third row seats could have been designed with a little more thought to adding cushioning and support suitable for making a long trip more comfortable. Overall, the Kia Sedona LX suited our family well for 3 years and I would highly recommend them to someone looking at a larger family vehicle that wont break the bank to drive.

I?d buy this car ten times over again

I love this vehicle! It drives so nice and it has so much space! The only thing I wish it had that my old car had was the warnings beep of a pedestrian or car is behind you as you back up. Other than that I have no complaints
