Kia Sorento

This almost the only crossover that looks like a SUV with perfect size and a tot of value for money. Four Cylinder engine provide adequate power with great fuel economy, had a great getup and go and looks great. EX comes with leather interior, climate control, rear view camera and other amentias for under $25K. Owning a Volvo before this does not disappoint. Pete

2013 KIA Sorento EX V6 = Great Vehicle

Good Performance, much bette than 4 cyl. V-6 and six speed automatic are great. Drives very well and gets excellent miles per gallon. MPG much better than other 3 Row V-6 Mid Size SUV. Options such as panoramic sun roof and others work great. A really great vehicle. One of main reasons for purchase was length of bumper to bumper warranty and 10 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty. Only smaller or mid size SUV with 3 rows of seating that offers 5 x 60 bumper to bumper warranty.

I'd buy one again!

I've had my 2013 Kia Soento since early July and overall I am extremely pleased with the vehicle. I have gone from buying 4 or 5 tankfuls of gas a month to 2 or 3 a month. It has an SUV ride, but it's not the least harsh or uncomforable. It handles well and is quite agile in traffic or to park it. If I had to do it again, I'd buy it!

RetirementCar

After a long search, I have purchased this--the test drive impressive--very quiet and weighty on a rough road. My wife and I are very happy with our purchase with convience package--very good milage up to 32mpg. Not driven much and 10 year warranty assures no-surprize (paid extra 1k to extend cover-to-cover for 10 years). I like UVO and rear-view camera and heated seat etc. The stying is excellent when I parked beside BMW or Lexus, I feel like this is really standing out as well.

Lovin' it!

Extremely happy with my purchase. Bought a 2012 EX V6. Ride is Euro-firm, but handles great. Road/ wind noise not great, but acceptable. Paint Job? Best I've ever had. (flawless!!!). V6 Engine is smooth and I Love engine exhaust note when I floor it. You should know how picky I am finding flaws and defects, but I can't find one. The panel gaps, interior plastic fittings are ALL flawless. (found 5 defects in my mother's honda crv). Kia has come a long way, so get them while they are still less than the competition!

Excellent Replacement for a Saab Wagon

Recently purchased a KIA Sorento (SX trim) to replace a much loved 2004 Saab 9-5 "sportswagon." With requirements for AWD and a preference for a V6 to haul around two tons of vehicle, there were simply few choices in the mid-$30K range. Add in acceptable handling, rear a/c for the kid and dog, and a size that can fit into a "compact" parking space and still open the doors, and the universe of acceptable vehicles amounted to two; a Kia Sorento and a Subaru Outback. Had just about settled on the Outback when we drove the Kia Sorento. A more airy and open interior, equal cargo room, memory seats, surround sound, a better (though still not great) nav system, a panoramic dual sunroof, keyless entry, and seating for five adults plus two chimpanzees, children, or even a couple more adults for a short trip. Neither the KIA nor the Outback is a serious off-road vehicle, but the KIA adds hill descent control and a locking center differential lacking on the Outback. Each will get us to the mountains for skiing (and home again) but the KIA is simply more upscale for the other 95% of our driving. Overall, the Sorento meets our requirements quite well. Far more maneuverable than most "mid-size" CUV's, more "oomph" than most other "compact" alternatives. (The RAV4 offers a V6 at this price point but lacks rear a/c and introduces problems for a rear bike rack with its antiquated rear opening and external spare.) So far less than 8000 miles on the Sorento but virtually trouble-free. Hopefully that will continue and even if it does not the 5yr/60000 warranty provides some reassurance.

Worth every cent...

After a horrific accident, I had to go out and buy a new car, and was not looking forward to it. After several dealerships, my daughter in law recommended Kia, so I gave it a try. I LOVE IT!! Feel safe and comfortable and will def recommend :)

High expectations, and it exceeds them!

Our 2013 Sorrento EX 4 cyl with Premium Plus Pkg has exceeded our expectations. We got this as our "retirement car" for trips and projects. This is our first SUV and we are happy with the ride and performance. We are very pleased with the 30+ MPG we have gotten on our first 2 trips, and the 23+ MPG in the city. The electronics including NAV and voice command radio, phone, backup camera, backup sensors and Homelink are dazzling. We added an aftermarket power moonroof as it is only available in the V-6 version from the factory and we wanted the direct injection 4 for the added economy. A few years ago I would have never imagined driving a KIA, but we love it!
