The seats in this vehicle need improvement. My previous car was a 2010 Acadia. We have driven my new 2018 Sorento on two trips. The first was a 16 hour drive the second was a 4 hour drive. Both were absolute endurance tests. Its a real shame as the price, power and features of the vehicle are good. Getting the luggage for two adults and 3 children for that second trip (just 2 nights small bags) to fit was also tricky. These seats are a deal breaker for us. We'll be trading as soon as feasable.

Car meets all my needs from entertainment, room, and style.. I love the color and each day I drive, I find something new about the car. When entering the expressway, there is no lag, but a burst of speed. I love that! it is roomy for a big family, but not too big for a road trip for 1 or 2. Nice and roomy hatchback space.

Purchased a 2018 SX-L to replace our 2012 version that we purchased new and drove trouble-free for 80K miles. The vehicle is the perfect size for our family of four, including a teenage daughter with friends and a large dog. We don't use the third row of seats often but having the option is a huge plus. And that without the penalty of up to a foot of extra length with no discernible advantage (Yeah, I'm looking at you Mazda CX-9). Upscale design inside and out with a comfortable ride and the bells and whistles of a vehicle costing thousands more. Couldn't ask for much more. What I find most impressive about Kia over recent years is the European flavor of its design and the commitment to continuous improvement they've demonstrated. Literally every shortcoming and complaint we had about our previous Sorento, and much more besides, were addressed in the 2018 model.

I have only owned my new sorento for a week, but it seems to be the right suv for my family.I will have a better feel for the vehicle after several months of driving it . In the meantime,you have a good confidence knowing that you have 5 year/60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty on your car.
