2017 Kia Soul consumer reviews

Overall the Soul! Is exactly what I wanted for a very long time.., I've in live with this Soul since they came out.. But, there are some minor issues.. there are blind spots and the most disturbing issue is the turbo exhaust is loose And behind the exhaust is the muffler which is very rusted for a brand new 2017 car... I called the dealer and they claimed that I must of bumped into something for the exhaust to be loose.. ( not so ).. and then the salesman told me to deal with maintenance department and parts regarding the rusted muffler.. I told them for a car that is about 8 days old I am not paying for a new muffler and I asked why is the muffler rusting so soon on a brand new car?... The dealership has to resolve this issue and upgrade my muffler.. No question!

We love our Kia. It's comfortable, deceptively roomy. The new 2017 is sleek and attractive. Handles beautifully, feels very stable. Lots of cargo room and easy to configure. It's got everything you need or could want in a new vehicle.

I was very surprised by this car, and ultimately chose to buy it! We were shopping around for small SUV's, but I was very drawn to the car. I was worried it would be too small for our family, but much to my surprise it's super roomy! Not a lot of cargo space, but way more interior space than other cars of it's class! It's fun to drive, and so awesome on gas which was one of the main things I was looking for!

Styling and roominess is awesome! Tech features are from the future. The engine has great pick up. Ride is so smooth and quiet. This is my.second Kia Soul, the other was a 2010. I never had any problems with it after driving 146k miles!

This car is nice as far as styling. Warranty is a plus. For my mom it was a good fit. She had been wanting the Soul specifically for awhile.

The Kia Soul has impressive leg and headroom for all passenger's. When you sit in the drivers seat the dash layout (gauges & red/white lighting) make it look and feel like a sports car, but with more of an SUV sitting position and visability. We have the base (automatic) with the convenience pkg. ($500) which adds backup camera, auto headlights & 5" touch screen radio. It is fun to drive especially with the sport-matic mode which let's you control gear shifting manually my moving the automatic shift knob foward (upshift) or back (down shift). Some standard features are tilt-telescoping steering wheel with media control, trip/MPG/MPH and driving mode control buttons. Driving mode has ECO, Sport and normal. Power windows, Doors and audio system am/fm/mp3 with sirus XM, and streaming audio with a Pandora app. The only negative is the Bluetooth voice command only works with a Siri capable iphone. Don't understand why Kia would deprive Android phone owners of such a great feature as voice command. But considering the long list of standard features, driveability, interior space, safety features and ratings, you just can't beat the value for you dollar. It's downright fun to drive and the warranty is the best in the industry!

I only have had this car for about a week and a half and it has exceeded my expectations. First of all the Kia soul has such a great style body that it kind of represents my personality. And then as far as the performance the plus model is the best for me. As far as the handling of the car driving on Winding roads it handled so well. I am excited about driving this on longer distance. The gas mileage it seems to be OK compared to my old Sentra I got more gas mileage from that car. But the engine is a lot stronger and I'm able to accelerate quicker. Overall the style of the functionality of the car is whatever i've always wanted.

Sporty, economical, stylish, everything I expected in this car I am very satisfied with my car and the whole buying process

Soul has every feature you need in the plus (+) trim. Ride is pretty good. I cannot imagine the car with the 1.6 liter engine (that the base Soul has), the plus trim has the 2.0 engine which is just fine and has the timing chain (not a belt). Hopefully it will be reliable (this is our first week).

This car is the one I've been looking at and thinking about for over a year. I'm so happy with it - it drives like a dream and is so much fun to own! I called my daughter and told her about it; she went out and traded in HER five-year old Kia and bought a Kia Soul. She, too, loves her new car. I haven't had a new car in 15 years, so I am extremely satisfied with the Kia Soul I just bought and my purchasing experience.
