I bought this car because it’s fast , cute,33mpg . And cheap being a new car. I had my 2023 Gt-line for 2 weeks and a lady ran a red light and totaled my car. Nothing left of the drivers side front. Parts everywhere. I could have easily been killed but that cute car has air bags all over. I thought I was in heaven for a second because it looked like I was floating in clouds. Walked away from it with some bruising but that’s it! Waiting now for my next one to get to the dealership! Love Kia of Grand Blanc and Jason Morris my salesman.

Kia Soul EX 2020 - LEMON
I have a 2020 Kia Soul EX. The engine had to be replaced at 50k. I’ve now put on 40k more and it needs another new engine. Luckily I’m leasing the vehicle and all expenses are covered. If I was financing this car I would have to sell my house to pay for car repairs. I do not recommend the 2020. Not to mention the inconvenience of having to bring it in to the dealership for all the problems. ☹️

Wowzers
Love my new 2023 Kia. For being such a small car it has a lot of interior space. My 6’3” Marine son-in-law can ride comfortably in the back seat! It rides smooth and feels solid. You would swear you are driving a larger car until you whip into that small parking space and get between 35-40 MPG driving around town!

2020 Kia Soul Bad Choice.
I have a 2020 Kia Soul GT Red With Black Roof. I love my car but the front seats are made for a skinny person. I hate the way the seats wrap around you. @87K miles my engine is a 2.0L and every 1,500 to 1,800 miles it uses a quart of oil. I run Pennzoil full synthetic platinum and at $10 a Quart it is expensive not to mention the regular service interchanges at 5k miles. I had a 2016 Kia Soul that had the 1.6L engine and I loved that car it is why when I was looking for a new car at 4 yrs I went back to Kia. This 2020 has turned me away from Kia totally. You can’t beat the warranty but unless they bring out a new engine besides the 2.0 I won’t be going back for my third one or the brand.

2023 Kia Soul GT-Line
My wife's 2016 has been perfect, and sold me on the brand and model. The 2023 GT-Line I just bought is quieter and has a smoother ride than the 2016, even with 18-inch wheels. Mine has the technology package, and I'm still trying to figure everything out. Kia's are very high quality nowadays, and considering price and warranty I don't know that they can be beat. Averaging around 31 mpg so far in mostly city driving.

Best Car Ever
WOW! I looked for about 18 months and did my due diligence on my new car. There are so many things that are explained in the manual and candidly I took to reading that manual. The first thing that interested me was the 10 year powertrain warranty which is miles above other cars. And I took out the bumper to bumper as well as the gap insurance. Yesterday I discovered all the videos that can be watched for getting acclimated to my new car. About a week ago I had to take my Kia back to the Crain Kia dealership in Conway. For some reason the instrument display wasn't lit up so I couldn't see where my gas gauge was or what speed I was traveling. I was there for no more than 20 minutes and the car was good to go. I truly like my blue Kia EX and with any luck I will keep it a long time.

Biggest inside shortest outside best city car
Kia Soul is the best choice for city folks who park on the street. No other car comes close. It is the only subcompact (165") with cargo room that is better than most compact SUVs measuring a foot longer. We moved dressers, a queen mattress, bookshelves, etc. The boxy shape means everything fits. Front and rear passenger room are best in class. It's also one of the cheapest cars you can buy with the best safety features. It is not quiet at speed and the suspension is bumpy. There is no all-wheel drive. Clearance is good and it's easy to get in and out. It is a mild hybrid so mine shuts off at stop lights and gets excellent milage/range (35mpg, 400+ per tank). The 5/10 year warranty is best in class. The only car that comes close is the Hyundai Kona and it's much tighter for passengers and cargo.

Buy it you will like it!!!!
We got 23 Soul in Feb, the gas mileage is GREAT--37.5 Hwy 33 town. The ride is smooth and quiet. It easy for a 94 yr old getting into the back and she comfortable. The only negative it is high on the insurance, but I still won't part with this car.

Wow, what a nice vehicle the 2023 KIA Soul-S is!
We bought this car as second car for my spouse who does 90% of her driving around town. She will use it primarily to haul groceries and other store items, and to taxi two teen aged grand kids around town. We were looking for a car that is economical to buy, own, and operate, and which makes the best use of the inside space afforded by the outside size. This car looks like it will be perfect for that. It seats five comfortably and has a very generous cargo bay that is easy to load and unload. It runs well, is very solid, and has excellent fit/finish, and gorgeous black over white paint. The overall quality is excellent. It has virtually every electronic safety and convenience feature you could think of, even more than my two year old vehicle which cost much more than the Soul. It handles well, has abundant acceleration, and brakes smoothly and quickly. The CVT transmission eliminates entirely any stalls or other jerky motions associated with the normal transmission shifting gears, and keeps the engine RPMs at maximum fuel efficiency levels while providing excellent acceleration response. This is the "S" trim. We live in a small city of 50,000 and you see quite a few of these on our roads, far in excess of what should be random given the many makes and models to choose from. That seems to speak well for them in my opinion and factored into our purchase decision, along with a recommendation from two other Soul owners. We highly recommend this vehicle. KIA has a winner!
