Love it, this is our families court mazda. They are all wonderful cars. Fun to drive, inexpensive, but feel much more expensive. 2011 cx9, 2013 mazda 3, 2014 cx5, 2018 3

Great looking, but low quality

I traded in my truck for this car to get better gas mileage during my travels. The car has a really nice look and does get the great gas mileage I was looking for, but it doesn't make up for the issues I've had with it. From the day I bought it one of my Bose speakers has rattled with high bass songs. Also, the side window trim came loose on it's own and started peeling off when I scraped ice off my windows. It has been replaced and it is peeling off yet again so will require further replacement. Finally, it was purchased with a remote start that caused many electronic issues, making my first 3 weeks with the vehicle (until it could be fixed) very unpleasant. This would make a good vehicle if it were parked in a garage year round and maybe bought a lower end package, but I do not feel I received a vehicle of equal quality to what I paid.

Can't hold a candle to my 2007 Mazda 6

Over rated, terrible ride rough jolting ride quality. Poor mid bad Power with the 2.0. Don't buy this compact junk. Get a decent mid size car.

Love this car.

Thus far I am having a very positive experience with the Mazda3. No negative feedback at present. I have also heard from friends they really love this car too. Happy with my purchase.

Money Well Spent

great exterior and interior design, though some place can have a more upscale material but overall it gives a luxury feeling to people inside of it. I test drove both GT and GS and I have to say the GT is way more fun than the GS, though the GS will handle your every day drive just fine. I wish manual and automatic had a price difference on GT but nope, I ended up getting am automatic. Overall money Well spent everything included under 30K, within my budget, something you can't get with that amount anywhere else. Maybe Hyundai Elantra but it's look throws me off

Most Uncomfortable Car I Ever Had

The Mazda 3 has better suspension than my previous Elantra. Gas mileage is decent as is interior room. Easy to operate vehicle. Good highway vehicle. Mostly dependable (but battery had to be replaced in the first two weeks). The display for traffic is basically useless since it is too small to see any details. Too little of interior storage space. But what I absolutely hate about this car is the discomfort of the driver seat. I must sit on a large fluffy folded bath towel.

Great commuter

This car has met all of my needs. I originally bought it because I need to start commuting to/from school and my old car was no reliable. This car has exceeded my expectations as it is great on gas, spacious, has all of the techey features you could dream of and just plain beautiful.

I don't know why I ever strayed away from Mazda

This is the third Mazda vehicle I have owned. I test drove a few other competitors vehicles before purchasing the Mazda 3 hatchback. Mazda has a way with connecting a driver with a vehicle. When I first test drove the Mazda 3, I immediately fell in love with the way it drove. It honestly puts all of it's competitors to shame when it comes to the overall driving experience. This thing feels like it rides on rails and the shifts on the manual transmission are so smooth. As most competitors are turbocharging their vehicles these days, this car has plenty of power being naturally aspirated with the 2.5L. The torque is felt really low in the rpms. Sure, it might not have as good mpgs as it's competitors, but the way it drives makes up for that significantly. If I am going to be stuck in one vehicle for the next several years it better be enjoyable to drive, which the Mazda 3 is without a doubt. I feel it has the best value for the buck compared to it's competitors and comes well equipped even as a base model. I splurged for the Grand Touring trim with the additional safety package and feel it was well worth it. This car looks much more expensive than what it really is. If you were to remove he Mazda badging and replace it with Alpha Romeo badging, it would be believable. I also like the fact that the majority of Mazda dealerships don't add on a bunch of extra addendums to the car to raise dealer profit such as nitrogen in the tires, tint, etc.

Extremely satisfying to drive

A car that feels satisfying to drive, it's impossible not to smile a little zooming down an empty highway in this car. Despite its hatchback form factor, it's not the most practical car. There's not a lot of practical storage space (cubbies and compartments) in the front couple of seats, and seats only allow for really one comfortable seating position which can be an issue on longer drives .
