Sporty feel, great fuel economy

Purchased this 2015 as a left over in November 2016. Its the GT with the tech package, has every option available. The car has the feel and drives like a performance car. It has great fuel economy, I regularly get higher than the EPA estimates, I will easily get 42, mpg. The safety and technology features are helpful and reliable. A couple things to note is that the finish on the wheels is peeling off. I am told by the dealer that Mazda will remedy this but just one time over the life of the car, even if it happens again it will not be covered. Secondly, 6 months in with the car and 5,000 miles, the transmission went. Mazda did pay to have it towed and replaced the transmission. But this leaves me very weary.

Bulldog

Though it might seem like a front wheel drive sedan with an I4 would be blah at best as a daily driver, I can assure you it is anything but. Though you won't win any drag races in this car, its tight handling, surprisingly good suspension, and great interior design will have you falling in love. What's more, I've spent 2 snowy winters driving my Mazda 6 and never once have I felt as if it couldnt handle the poor road condtions. Great car!

Nothing drives like a Mazda

This is my second Mazda, my first being a 2006 Mazda3 S Touring. Like the headline says, NOTHING drives like a Mazda. My father refers to my car as "the poor man's BMW," while that may be a stretch, I understand what he means. My car is the Touring model with the six-speed manual transmission which makes it that much sweeter. Other than the Accord Sport, you cannot get a sporty-ish mid-size sedan with a manual transmission. Other features that make my car amazing is the leatherette, navigation system, smart key access, Bluetooth audio, blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alerts, etc. While the drive may be a bit firm for a few people, it is easy to look past when driving on curvy roads and throughout the city. Although the powertrain is not the fastest, it does offer 35+ MPG and decent acceleration with the manual transmission and even with the automatic, passing other vehicle and merging onto highways is no issue. My Mazda6 provides the most driver engagement with nimble handling and a well-tuned electric power steering system that provides good feedback over other vehicle in its class. Lastly, the Mazda6 is one of the best looking family sedans on the market. I purchased this vehicle brand new when I was 22 and while most of my friends were busy buying Camaros and Mustangs and paying out the wall for insurance premiums, I was completely satisfied with my beautiful car. Sure a Camaro SS is what I would have liked to purchase, but I was looking for something I could take rips in, transport my family and friends, and even sometimes load it up with yard stuff for my home. My only gripe about the Mazda6 is that I cannot get the wagon model in the US or the diesel engine option. I will be replacing this vehicle with another Mazda6 or another Mazda3.

Lots of Zoom-Zoom in a sports sedan

Mazda 6 Touring with manual transmission is a very sporty ride. Tight suspension, precise shifting, excellent seat support, plus lots of safety features. Long trips are easy with great mpg and lots of drivers seat power adjustments. Plenty of luggage space with large trunk and fold down rear seat backs. The white exterior with black accents and a bit of chrome is very attractive. Low profile tires add to the sporty appearance.

Sporty and fuel-efficient

The Mazda6 is an excellent daily driver with best-in-class exterior and interior styling. The 2.5 litre engine strikes a good balance of power and efficiency. Acceleration feels very linear. The ride and handling are firm.

Fun to drive

I looked and reviewed many sedans and came down to 3. This one won out as it was fun to drive, had all the bells and whistles, and was in my price range. I recommend this car to those that are wanting a fun snazy car to drive.

Recently Purchased

I recently purchased a 2015 Mazda6 and it has been a great experience so far. The best part is the MPG on the highway. Saving money on gas already. The car is roomy for being a mid-sized vehicle as well. No complaints so far.

Reliable, economic and good looking

Purchased new two and a half years ago. 67000 miles later I only spent money on gas, oil and tires. Drives like new. 6 speed transmission makes it very economic( 33-34 mpg combined).
