Not British, but Classique

One of the most fun and overall best cars ever made, in its class. Perhaps the best roadster ever. Classic and legendary. Everything the classic British and Italian roadsters were aiming for, but also including Japanese reliability, efficiency, and great ergonomics. Perhaps best standard transmission feel in history. Bottled youth, mounted on wheels.

REDONE FOR RELIABILITY,,

I THINK THIS CAR IS THE PERFECT CAR FOR SOMEONE THAT HAS TIME TO DRIVE IT ON NICE WEEKENDS AND WEATHER. VERY PRACTICAL, RUNS GREAT, REDONE FOR RELIABILITY, NOT A CAR REDONE FOR APPEARANCE ONLY, FOR USE.

ADULT GO KART

Really fun, and very tight, fun at any speed .I like the silver color, make sure there is no water in trunk or top is leak proof, several I drove had evidence of water in trunk, and or top leaked. Don'the be scared of higher mileage, as long as maintenance can be verified.

Most fun you can have going 40.

Small, as expected, some people might tire of always shifting and now I see why some would want a automatic , I would not -the gearbox is a joy and brings this car alive. I think you have to shift your expectations some, but it is really fun, reliable and tons of extra equipment out there for them.

Most Fun I've Ever Had In a Car!

I ended up buying a 1990 Mazda Miata with a 1.6 L engine and 5-speed transmission. The couple I bought it from was great and very understanding. I got a killer deal on it and absolutely love driving it everyday, and cars.com made it super easy to get ahold of the seller! Overall a great experience, I loved it! Would 100% recommend anyone get a Miata with or without a 1.8 L engine! The 1.6 is still very peppy!

Miata - Most Sold 2 door convertible of all times

I owned several Miatas. My current 90 miata I've owned now for over 11 years. She runs as good as the first time she rolled from the factory. Miatas are very reliable cars and easy to maintain too.

Mr. Bob

Nice looking and fun to drive. Look good with the racing strips. I am in my mid seventy's and have a little trouble getting in out.

1990 Miata

I am 6 foot and weigh about 250, hard to get in and out of, but it is fun to drive. Once in it has enough leg room for me to sit comfortable. It is fun to drive. It is no luxury car, but it has pop up headlights and is fun to drive. I have had the car for about 4 years and live near the mountains of NC, have not had any major problems, really no minor problems, did I mention it has pop up headlights and it is fun to drive. A friend of mine has one and we go up in the mountains to what is called Twisties, curves that when you go around you can see your tail when you look to the side. It is fun to drive and it has pop up headlights. I love my Miata, will not get rid of it. From what I have read on the internet, the older ones, the NA and NB are more fun to drive then then newer ones, and they are cheaper. Pop up headlights and fun to drive, what else can you ask for. If you are buying it for a family car or to take long trips, the NA and NB are not your car or I would not want to take a long trip in it, but it is fun to drive. For someone that wants to have fun, buy a Miata. They are good dependable cars and the NA has pop up headlights and are fun to drive. What else can I say other than pop up head lights and fun to drive.

I couldn't stop smiling

So I'll start out by saying this, I originally drove this car just to say how bad it was, and I couldn't have been any further from the truth! I own a few luxury sedans and have had the pleasure of driving many high end cars such as top tier Audi?s and Porche's, all of which I have loved. I recently started looking for a fun, yet not to expensive convertible, so I began looking at used BMW Z3/4 and the more recent 2006+ MX-5's. I did not want to bother looking at any Miata prior to 2006 due to the lower hp/torque, specially my friend's 1990 Miata. After many weeks he was finally able to convince me to borrow it just to see how it was, I only agreed so I could tell him how horrific the car was, but after just driving around the car for ten minutes I couldn?t stop smiling! There is just something about Miata?s even as old as this model year, that just make them so much fun to drive, even when compared to the more expensive cars I have driven, this car just does everything right to make for a very enjoyable drive. On to some other notes that people reading this review might want to hear, I am 6?4 and weigh 205, surprisingly enough I fit into this car (the top of my head basically touches the roof though), but I did have to remove the glare/flip down mirror because it directly blocked my eyes and made visibility very difficult. I loved driving this car around winding roads, despite not having a tremendous amount of power the car?s lightweight body and small chassis makes the car feel as though you are going faster which greatly added to the fun factor. The clutch was very easy and enjoyable to drive, however I could tell on long trips this car will get uncomfortable and cramped for anyone above 6?. The ride is very low so getting in was fine, but getting out was difficult, especially with the top down. The new MX?s are extremely fun, but if you don?t want to spend as much and still have the same feel, I would gladly recommend this car to anyone.
