Overall I love this car but buyer beware of a couple of items. 08 through I believe 11 on all c classes have faulty esl (electronic steering lock) this is an anti theft feature that fails and will not allow you to start the car. Mine failed at just over 100,000 miles and cost about $900 to repair and can only be done through a dealer because it's an anti theft feature. I've heard of them failing much sooner and costing much more to repair. Also the eis (electronic ignition switch) is a common failure point as well , either one failing can cause you to be stranded. Wiring is another issue some of which has been recalled some of which has not. I love my Mercedes but I'm not impressed with the manufacturer because once it's out of warranty they don't stand behind the product at all. And if you'we thinking of a c63 amg between 08 and most of 11's beware of headbolt failure as it will cause complete engine failure (loud ticking noise or engine coolant low light are signs).

I bought 2009 Mercedes which was still undranty and dealership couldn't find a problem but I took it back end right before warranty expired and they replaced my motor at their cost. Now my Mercedes will not turn over, light work, locks work but does not start. Fuses are ok. I have read that there has been a lot of people with same problem and they still have not did a recall. As much as they charge the customer you think corporate would take care of us but they are not.

Great car all around, ignition lock replaced when purchased vehicle no issue with dealership paying for repair. Sport model firm ride, mpg 20 City 26.5 Highway

These cars do not disappoint, if you want a true luxury car, this is the best one for the money. Over the years I have owned just about all of them. What a value!

I have a C 300 Luxury and I'm very happy with the performance and also the interior !!! The Mercedes Benz maintenance and warranty is amazing!!! It's worth it every penny....very well build and technology.

Bought a 2009 C300 Sport with 14,000 miles. Certified Pre-Owned. Loved the looks and the way it drove. Put 40,000 miles on it in 21 months. Was in the shop 14 times. 3 of those were for service, the rest for repairs. Had a real love/hate with the car. Traded it last weekend.

the mercedes benz C300 is the best car i have ever owned. beautiful, powerful, and incredibly safe. every morning when i arise, all i want to do is take it for a spin. i bought my car used. but i found many good and even great deals out there. my car has over half of its factory warranty remaining! i drove a ton of new cars, but nothing comes close to my benz. tons of WOW factor! if you want a beautiful, safe and awesome car, look for a used C300, 2009 or newer.

Nicest car I have ever owned. Handling , performance and luxury. This car has it all. Plus it has wow factor you won't find in any other high end car including a Caddy. I would buy this again in a New York minute. 11 on a scale of 10!!!!!!!!!!!
