I've owned a couple of things...

I've owned a couple of items in my life that I have been absolutely satisfied with- this car is one and the other... I forgot the other. I pay for quality for items and rarely get it. I hate my other car a new high-end auto. Top to bottom- purchase through service just terrific. It is coming off two year lease and I don't know if I should buy it or buy another.

Excellent Vehicle!

This is a fantastic vehicle. My only complaint is that the C300 needs a little more power. I previously owned a CLK350 and it had noticeably better acceleration. The C300 feels heavier and, as a result, a little more sluggish on acceleration. Mercedes' new voice command system and navi are much improved and now rival the technology of its Japanese competitors. I love this vehicle!

Good Choice

I test drove a number of cars before deciding on the C300 Sport with manual transmission. The A4 2.0 T has a little turbo lag, nice quatro, the BMW 328i is nice probably a better engine, the VW CC rear view is obstructed by the egg shell, TSX is nice but only with front wheel drive, Maxima is nice, nice power band, no manual transmission. It took me a while to decide but based on quality/performance/feel alone it was really betwen the 328i and C300 with the TSX close by. The TSX clutch was awesome, I must say. But at the end of the day rear wheel drive is better for more spirited drivers as myself. I did negociate finance on all these cars. The BMW dealers did not want to deal, even though they had both special financing and lease deals as per advertised. At the end of the day Mercedes offered the best finance for my budget. The car likes to be in the 6th gear, clearly the gas consumption gets better as you drive on the highway. I get 27 mpg at about 80/85. The short shift clutch is awesome, the feel of the actual knob is excellent. The audio is nice, bluetooth for your calling needs, Ipod adator in the glovebox, nice design. All in all a nice package. The cabin is very quiet and when you close the doors it almost feel like a " vault". This is best in class!!!!

I would kill to have my 2006 E-4Matic

I've had it for six weeks and I absolutely hate it! This is my 8th MB. Thank God I have my '98SL500.

Great Car

It's a great car, however, the trade in/ residual value doesn't hold up to it's depreciable value. I would have given it 5 stars if it had more comfortable back seats.

Most Satisfying Car I've Owned

Most of the cars I've owned have been Hondas or Acuras, all of which I've liked, particularly my lovely '84 Prelude. But my 2008 C300 Sport version Mercedes is my favorite. The styling is quietly pleasing, and the car feels solid and comfortable around town and on the highway. I find the seats comfortable even after a 5-hour drive! The fun part is the car's handling and pep. Mileage on the highway of my 6-speed is a great 31.7 MPG, though around town, it's closer to 21. That's the only negative: better in-town mileage would be nice. I bought the navigation and sound package, which I use and like a lot. The nav system is easy to use, though I wish they'd update it more often, as interstate changes are incorporated very slowly. All-in-all it's a great car, very dependable and with good service.

C-class 300 4 matic

the car is awesome, you'll never stop driving it, it's so fun to drive and the handling is amazing, the speakers are the best. the only thing that bothers me is how it needs a lot of fuel. but the car is a wonderful vehicle that treats you the same way you treat (her).
