Get Ready For the Bills

In the two years I've has this car, I've done more maintenance than on any dozen other cars I've owned. The bad part was, the shop fees are double or triple what a reasonable person would expect. $800 for a fan blower? I'll never buy another Benz again.

Still the Benchmark

Remember when Mercedes were synonymous with tanks? Big, heavy, capable, solid.... This is it. It's about as tank-like as you can get--in a good way. I found it a tad underpowered on the highway, but excellent around town in terms of power. Nice styling, in my opinion. Still has a lot of presence for a car that's a few years old. It definitely has a suspension that's geared more for the suburban mommy than the boy racer. I guess that's what the market wants. This is a car I could grow old with.

Mercedes quality has taken a dive.

Not worth the money. Many small problems thus lowering my opinion about this car. Luxury name plate but sub-standard workmanship.
