Great driving car and elegantly designed

Great car overall. Not a lot of horsepower so don't expect to have much excitement. However very smooth, relaxing and just a great luxury car feeling. Not exactly what I was looking for as I like a bit more oomph...but it's a great car for the family and does the job very well.

Car jerks like the transmission is falling off.

This car will jerk like the back end of the car fell off. It also dies completely at stops and will not start. Had it in the shop twice and they can not find the problem. This is my 3rd Mercedes that I have owned or leased and I will not buy another one. Mercedes is going down hill fast. The GLC 300 that they give me as loners seem to have some electronic problems. The anti slip warning will beep for no reason, and the side sensors will light up when no car is next to me and will only show up about 50% of the time when a car is in the blind spot.

I love it!

I absolutely love driving this SUV! I traded in my GLK, when it reached 102,000 miles, as I was concerned there might be some future issues (even though it had never given me any problems), and got the GLC. It is a lot more luxurious, and I love the new options, like the heated steering wheel, and LED lights. So many cool features, and better gas mileage than the GLK.

Brakes squeleeng

My brakes started squealing few days after I bought it. First just when breaking in reverse and soon after every time I used the brakes. Took it back to dealership, said how embarrassing it is to drive a Mercedes with squealing breaks and they fixed it under warranty. They never explained what the issue was, but car was in the shop for 5 days. It stopped squealing after the repair.

Turbo engine tubes leaking, wheel clicking. No day

Whin 6 months engine seal turbo charger leaks. No daytime running lights!!! What! It’s a brand new car. What they did PDI? God knows. I sent car back after 3 days they told me it has been fixed. I went to dealership turned engine on, wow no lights on al all. I really doubt they sold me a used car not a brand new. Now my car got 7000 KM.

Not what I expected from a Mercedes

This car is overall okay, the problem I have with it is a bad odor that comes from the AC. This is a surprise to me because it is a brand new car, 2019. The car started with the bad AC smell about 6 months after we bought it. We contacted our dealer and they said that was normal and that we could do an AC cleaning, at our own expense ($800-$1000) . I would not buy this car if I knew about the AC maintenance that needs to be done every several months. If we don’t do this maintenance, our family will Breath this moldy smell every time we drive it.

2017 GLC didn’t’t fulfill my highest expectations

The brakes began squealing at 12000 miles. Mercedes failed to recall vehicle even though they knew there was a brake problem. After bringing it to 4 different Mercedes Service Centers who told me they knew there was a brake problem with this model but were unable to fix it because there hasn’t been a recall . I notified Mercedes USA and they have never replied to my complaint. After 34000 miles the brakes still squeal. Who wants to drive a $50000 car with a brake problem. I no longer own the car and will not purchase another Mercedes.

Comfortable but noisy engine compartment.

The most comfortable vehicle to drive we have ever owned. Standing outside the vehicle while running - it sounds like loose lifters. It's annoying but we rarely ride on the outside of the vehicle so we'll adjust. Great fuel economy. The Android Auto App is still a bit of a let down. More versatility in the electronics department would be great. My 2011 Ford adapted to my phone much easier.
