I upgraded from a 2016 ML350 6 cylinders thinking that
I upgraded from a 2016 ML350 6 cylinders thinking that this new GLE350 2.0L will be better but I was very disappointed to find out that, regardless of the great look of the car and the new high-end interior and touch controls computers, I found that: 1. The 4-cylinder engine is very noisy, you can even hear the clicking of the engine valves 2. Regardless of the bigger tires, the suspension is not what the 2016 had, you can feel all the potholes and road cracks. MB was known for its suspension but not anymore 3. Radio, sometimes it come on by itself and many times it doesn’t 4. The ML350 Bluetooth connected my iPhone immediately when entering the car. The new GLE350 force me to go to the menu, find the setting to pair the cell phone with the care every single time 5. For the price of the car around $75K, it doesn’t come with a line control and semi-autopilot (even the 2020 Honda accord has) but fully parks itself! 6. No distance control when you are in cruise control. You can totally crash with the car in front of you. 7. Maps don’t get updated as described in the add, you should bring the car in the shop to update the MB maps. I am driving for a year with an old map. 8. Why do you have to pay extra for services that the vehicle comes up with? Sounds like a scam to me.

Can't wait to get rid of it
It has been a disappointment compared to my 2016 model. The driver seat vinyl (it is not leather) started cracking 6 months after driving it. Warranty does not cover that I was told. Quality is going downhill. The engine in my 2016 had much better excelleration.

Disappointed
I had a 2019 Durango RT and I trade in for a 2021 GLE 4matic with 9300 miles. The ride is nice but when you hit a bump in the road you can feel a sway from left to right in the back of the vehicle also the windshield is the loudest and it drags took it to the dealership new blades and they adjust the wiper arms and it still drags and is loud. The gas mileage is good I have had it for a month and I am ready to get rid of it. I don't see the benz quality here

Wait a few years till bugs are worked out!
Purchased new, after signing and taking delivery, second row would not tilt and retract forward to allow kids in the third row. Third row didn't want to come up from the down position. Also the transponder did not work to unlock doors. We were told all would be taken care of in our next service visit. All in all, took 3-4 months, completely new wiring harness in the interior because of a "short". Very first bad experience. Learned from that and still wanted to give MB a chance so purchased the last generation GL before the redesign as it was rated highly online and on MB forums.

Love this SUV
I like the option of the natural wood steering wheel, 21 inch tires and wheels trailer hitch if needed. The entertainment center is great, heated and cooled seats Have customizable controls. The SUV is just the perfect size not too big and not too small. Took it on a 9 Hour Rd. trip my kids love to drive it. People who look into the car make comments of how great it looks inside as we drive by in parking lots! Lots of room for passengers and luggage

Mercedes Benz vehicles are ones I always select
The GLE350 meets all of my vehicle's needs. I've owed other Mercedes Benz sedans and SUVs and continue to not shop for other vehicles because these vehicles are safe, reliable, comfortable and an awesome drive.

Impressive / Comfortable / Options
My first GLE and couldn't be more impressed with the overall build quality. Comfortable and very responsive engine. Although the 450 has the bigger engine, this one performs very well. Interior is amazing / plush / luxurious. The leather seats are very comfy. D2 package is nice and worth it. I am looking forward to what the road ahead holds.
