i bought it two years ago with 47k, now it has 90k. very good car, great enjoyable driving in high way, comfortable and stable even in high speed, i now speed driver, but it type of car that you need to look always at the speed Gage ether wise you may pass 120 mile without notice. within two years and more than 40000 miles, the car needs only normal maintenance, such as engine oil filter, break pads, battery and such on.

The Mercedez s550 is simply the best purchase you can make. A smooth ride, reliable, a gentle giant on the road. Mileage per gallon is good for a car it's size. Elegance, class, defines mercedez.

I purchased my 2007 S550 2 months ago. This car is loads of fun to drive. The car exudes class. Very quick off the line. The handling is excellent for a plus 4600 lb vehicle. The seats are extremely supportive and the ride is plush with enough road feel to keep you in contact with the road surface but with no harshness whatsoever. I also own a 2005 Audi A8L which also has a fine balance between luxury and sport. The S550 just feels better on the road. I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

This car does everything except drive you. It has a navigation system, dvd, voice operated directions, bluetooth for hands free talking and an unbelievable ride.

having just retired, i wanted to pamper myself with a little bit of indulgance on a new ride. i have owned a corvette, transam, mark 4,& impala ss. none has all the qualities i desire. each has it's strength. i want the T/A acceleration, SS ride, Vette g-hold, Mark 4 grace. looked at BMW 750 and MBZ S550. hands down, i liked the s550. the exterior proportions are excellent, with the wheels stretched far apart, leaving shorter overhangs on both ends. the interior is a living room 5 star hotel. the power delivery is seamless. step on the gas, it darts forward with no hesitations. the suspension is superb. hardly leans on fast turns. i like the quietness of the ride altho i kind of miss the deep rumble of my T/A. this car is every car i owned rolled into one plus bettered (bested!). i am an engineer. if i am to design a car, this would be it in every aspect. the exterior contours are so sensously functional. the interior space is so voluminous. even for full size adults. i love the night backlit lighting. like a theater. this car is a wolf in sheep skin! i bought mine CPO at less than half the new price. so far nothing major to complain as i only owned it for about 9 months. it looked brand new inside and outside. the center console cover's leather skin is kind of wrinkled but no big deal to me. i have only one issue: the front seats out board hinge covers are flimsy plastics and do make rubbing noise at every motion on them. the fix was to keep the seat bottoms retracted so as to pinch them tight. another regret: should have bought this car sooner. i think this is my last car.

my 2007 S550 was the best car, especially for 4-5 people. it rode great. plenty of leg room in the backseat. probably the best riding car built today. i got compliments almost everyday from people at traffic lights nodding or signaling " thumbs up" at the car.

at first this car was a job to drive. after a year of driving. i wouldn't trade. for any other brand.

Amazing ride, performance an space. This car looks amazing inside and out. The interior style is on a class of it's own far better than any other mercedes.

IT IS MY VIEW THE S CLASS IS JUST ONE FINE AUTOMOBILE. I HAVE HAD A FEW MERCEDES S CLASS CARS OVER THE YEARS AND THIS ONE IS JUST A GREAT CAR,ALTHOUGH THEIR ARE SEVERAL DESIGN ASPECT I LIKE IN THE PREVIOUS S CLASS BETTER AND THE GAS MILEAGE OF THIS CAR DOES NOT SEEM TO BE AS GOOD AS THE OTHER MODEL,OVERALL THOUGH THIS IS A GREAT CAR IT IS FULL OF POWER, SMOOTH RIDE AND AT THE MOMENT NOT ONE SINGLE ISSUE.. IN MY BOOK MERCEDES IS STILL ONE OF THE BEST BUYS ON THE MARKET. MR.RAHIM....

To be honest I did not want to buy a large sedan like the S550. We had to as our family grew and I simply had NO other choice because we already had a SUV and I would not buy a mini-Van......ever! We looked at the BMW 750 and the S550. It was almost immediate that the S550 won our kids over. We brought them with us to 'test drive' the kids space and back seat areas. The MB is far superior to the BMW, at least to our kids. Like I said I did not want a big sedan thinking that it was more of an 'old man' car, so I decided to pick up one a few years old. Found a 2007 with 28k miles on it in the color combo my wife liked the best for $43,000. Less than 1/2 of what they cost new so I felt pretty good about the purchase. I found my car in Dallas and had it trucked to me. I had never seen this particular car before only had the dealers word on its quality. I will say that I have purchased my last 6-7 cars online like this saving a LOT of $. The car showed up with a few small blemishes I was not aware of, but they where NOT a big deal and the dealer stood behind me when I found a part missing and replaced it very quickly. Anyway, the S550 is a seductive car. Classy looking with a ride to match. The drivers seat is about THE most comfortable I have ever sat in. I am a 'car guy' and have a Bentley GT that is not even close to as comfortable as the S550. But that is not why you have a Bentley....... I now look forward to getting into the MB every chance I get. The car looks better every time I pass it by, and it is VERY solid mechanically. My kids still LOVE the back seat room and all the places they can put their stuff. The seats are very durable as our kids put them to the test. The car has 380HP which sounds like a lot, but it just does not 'feel' like it is ever really working. Silky smooth and I suddenly find I am going 50mph in a 30mph zone or 80mph in a 55mph zone. That is what radar detectors are for so I keep mine on anytime I get it this car! I would highly recommend this great looking, intelligently designed car that will NOT disappoint anyone in the family.
