My 2001 SLK 320 is a great car, it's fast,dependable , gets good gas mileage, looks and looks great. I get a lot of compliments daily, for being over 20 years old that's saying a lot.

It is so sharp. Everyone comments on it and is shocked that its 20 years old. Great ride. Very dependable and comfortable. I am going to buy the new version of it.

This is a blast to drive, All mechanicals and electric systems work perfectly. Nice styling. Love the hardtop convertible. Would buy another one and would recommend it,

The SLK is fun, solid, handles like a razor, yet has that "carved from granite" M-B quality feel. Elegant, though not showy - as a piece of history, the SLK is the first hardtop Mercedes convertible.

I’ve owned a few Mercedes vehicles, and this one is very fun and sporty and is a head turner. It’s very quick and responsive. Very pleased

I bought my 2001 SLK 320 when it was ten years old with 12,000 miles on it. As of 2019, it has 40,000 problem free miles on it. No problems. Original brakes and rotors. Love the simple, analog gauges and instrumentation layout. Only negative is some of the rubber type coating on the vinyl console wears off over time. Can be touched up, I'm told.

ohhhhh . Superb, fantastic, felt like in heaven while driving on route 1 ,parallel to pacifc ocean. We , me and my wife always loved the drive from san Diego to san Fransisco in California. Very best for two of you either a wife, or a friend or a girl friend for courting. She is a beauty and the beast to steer. Be prepared to loose your caps/hats while sporting the expected speed and not to hesitate loosing head hairs along with hats. You can love her equal to your wife or better than to develop jealousy in the minds of wife. I just sold it 3 months ago after owning for 12 years, being in need of money as a distress sale and now I am always full of tears remembering her. I miss her more than my life. Wish I could by another sometime being my life time dream.

Very good high quality build, a real attention drawer and a lot of fun to drive. The car held up well with ownership for 15.5 years.

The SLK230 Kompressor was among the last true design of Bruno Sacco, at the end of his 30+ year tenure at MB. She has clean lines and unimpeachable proportions, no chrome and the double jump on the hood of 300 SL memory. It is not a sport car, but a (very) fast cruiser you can drive at 85 miles/hour on the highway from dawn to dusk. In the appropriate hands it is also quite manageable on mountain roads and hairpins. The engine has a reputation for 200k+ miles before any major service, provided you use a full synth motor oil (like Mobil 1). Fuel consumption is often in the 28 to 32 miles per gallon, if you dare to use the excellent low end torque rather than push the rpm past 5000/`.

Fun little car with excellent gas mileage. Has a tendency to nickel and dime you $100.00 at a time. Still fun to drive. Makin muffins at 85 mph.
