its too soon to tell, but i love it so far

It reminds me of my first car which also was a mirage. Very small but it meets my needs for gas mileage and a reliable car. It was in my price range had only 35000 miles and I was able to get an extended warranty

A car I could afford

This car is basic transportation and will get me where I need to be. Very small and only 3 cylinders. Not quiet, has a lot of road noise.

20th Century Car made in the 21st Century

Loved your 90's car and want a modern 90's car? The Mirage is your car. It's not underpowered, people don't know how to merge onto the highway. It's the perfect A-to-B car. Need it for college? Perfect. It saves a ton on gas. It gets 50mpg. It's got a small gas tank and I always get 320+ miles on a full tank of gas. Overall, the Mitsubishi Mirage gets bad reviews but it's only because most reviewers are spoiled by cars not in the Mirage's class. You need a 'brand new' car for under $9,000? You can not beat the Mirage for the price for a commuter car. Want to impress someone for a month? Get a used BMW that will survive one year. Want to get a cheap new car? Get a Mirage.

Great gas efficient commuter

Meets and exceeds all basic needs in an economy car and price-wise is hard to beat. Small but comfortable and functional, and is also fun to drive

Great College Car

I got this for my Daughter at NTSU. She loves it. Her sister loves it. Her mother lovers it. They are all smaller than I am. I like it but it is a little small for me. It's more like I'm wearing it than driving it, but I'm a big tall fat guy and it wasn't made for me.

Great car for fuel economy and drivability

This car treated me so well in so many ways. The fuel economy is the best feature, as well as the speediness and compact design. This car is so easy to maintain and is incredibly affordable. Despite is compact design, it actually handles really well in the winter months, provided there are winter tires equipped. All in all, a great car.

Good on gas, thats about it.

The car get awesome gas mileage but, that where the pros end on this car. The car just isn't fun to own. The ride is soft making sure you feel every bump on the road. Also the suspension can't take anyone sitting in the back seat, when I picked up my friend the car was almost bottoming out. Mitsubishi's choice of tire size is almost impossible to find and are very fragile/expensive. I had had to replace 3 of my 4 tires under the first year of ownership. I would get rid of this car if I wasn't upside down with my loan since this car depreciates like milk.
