So uncomfortable.

The driver seat is very uncomfortable. The seat belt piece digs into me and it doesn't move very much so I can't adjust it so it doesn't hurt. No arm rests!! The head rest is not adjustable and I hit my head every time I hit a bump! As a woman, I do not like this for another reason. I can't wear my hair up or have barrettes or anything in it because the stupid head rest position!!! I can't put my head back. But as I mentioned, even with my hair down, the position is a big problem. This thing is supposedly loaded but the seat cant be adjusted up and down as other cars for say shorter and taller drivers and the pedals do not adjust up and down either. And the AC is basically non existent unless you have it turned on the highest number and then its very loud and annoying. The vents can't be closed and there are no vents in the backseat!! Which means the kids are either hot or cold depending on the season. The cup holders are in the dumbest spot! Can't have anything too tall or it won't fit in under the dashboard!! What I use is a bottle with a screw on lid which I have to tilt to get down under the dashboard and then push it into the spot because it's not a very big holder. Example, Pureleaf ice tea bottles do not fit into it!! Husbands travel coffee mug is also too wide. And its not very deep so if you do put something in it it usually falls out around turns. It doesn't have much power and it's scary merging into traffic on a highway!!! This car was a surprise from a loved one. I NEVER would have bought it myself after doing a very short test drive. I would have seen how uncomfortable and user unfriendly it was and moved on to something else!!!! The more time he spends in the car, the more he realizes it too. I've had it for 18 months and I am only at 9907 miles. I don't like driving it. That headrest, ouch!!! Just my opinion. Enjoy

Most reliable car I’ve owned

I used this car to get to school, work, and home. It never let me down. Drove it out of state and had no problems.

Very good commuter car

My Mitsubishi Mirage ES fits my needs perfectly. It has all the features I wanted in a commuter car and none of the ones I don't. I opted for the 5 speed manual which makes the Mirage fun to drive and helps give it a bit more pep. The 3 cylinder engine does fine getting into traffic and cruises at 65-70 with little effort. The seats are comfortable and the visibility on the sides and back is quite good. I drive 80+ miles a day and have no complaints at all about the comfort or performance. Overall I'm quite pleased with my Mitsubishi and will buy another if it continues to be a reliable car during the time I own it.

Satisfied with my purchase

I needed a good dependable car that gets good gas mileage as I drive about 100 miles round trip to work. This car has all I need. I'm not on a speedway so they can go around me if That's how they drive. I really like the metallic enfrared color .I'd love to hear how many miles other owners have on theirs? Mine is the hatchback automatic. Great car for me.

The best reliable car.

This car has been excellent and works just like a normal car does. The only minor issues with car is the horsepower needed and the hudcaps on the wheels are plastic which can break off the wheels. Overall this car is definitely the best and I definitely rely on Mitsubishi for the brand of cars.

Torture chamber on wheels

So much better than what I traded in - but I can't drive this more than 20 minutes. At first I could drive it up to 40 minute before my lower back was screaming - but now the pain excruciates within 5 minutes of getting in. I have tried everything. The headrest jams my head forward, the "lumbar support" is not where my lumbar is, so actually causes pain. I have put pillows below the "support", above the "support" - but to no avail. I could put up with insufficient coffee thermos holders, having to pull front seats forward in order to flip the back seats down for more carrying space, feeling every bump and hole in the road - but the pain is more than I can put up with - seeking some sort of resolution with dealer - but it's crickets there..... Your website reviewer says: "One other thing to watch out for in the Mirage is that the steering wheel only tilts, it doesn’t telescope. That, along with limited adjustment range for the driver’s seat, made it impossible for me to find a seating position I liked. I consistently adjusted something (the seat, the wheel, myself) each time I drove the Mirage, which grew tiresome." ...and I couldn't agree more.

Better than you think

Plenty of front room, great mileage, the ride is not bad at all and a lot better than higher priced cars, road noise is a bit more than average but not annoying, handles great, plenty of get up and go with the manual transmission, comfy even for drivers over six foot tall, my es has a lot of things standard that are options on other brands. No complains after 6 months of driving, none.

It could be better

I got a 2018 mirage g4 in august.... I have a few minor complaints: 1) the amount of gas you can put in the tank, 2) the AC does not work great, 3) I need a center console...… The only reason i'm keeping it is because I only do between 3-6 thousand miles a year and I just want to run it into the ground for like 15 years

Great car for commuting!

Got this car cause I commute 60 miles a day to work. The car performs awesome! I get an average of 46 mpg for the 6 months I have owned it! It's actually kinda zippy for the gas mileage your get work it. It is a little small but the goods outwiegh the bads by far!
