For a small car it handles so well!

First of all, I am a Ford girl I have had numerous Ford cars & trucks .. this was my 1st experience with a different brand vehicle, let me tell you... this car has everything you will get in a higher end car! Apple Car Play/ Bluetooth, Generous Rear Camera, great interior and exterior design, rear upper spoiler, quality "custom" rims matching the car! It rides smooth and feels so good to drive! I LOVE MY MITSUBISHI !!! The price and the quality are five star!!

Love this little car!

Wanted cheap reliable transportation with a full warranty, and I got that plus a whole lot more! I'm 6'2" and about 285 lbs, and I have plenty of room in this car! Fuel mileage exceeds estimates. It's not a sports car, but not nearly as slow and sluggish as the expert reviews say. I bought the cheapest version available, but you can't tell! There are so many great standard features!

Some good, some not, radio bad, Great mileage!

The Good... I wanted a good small car for work and it is pretty good for commuting. It gets around town and comfortably holds 4 people for lunch runs. It fits anywhere and has a simple back up camera. It is pretty easy to drive and drives pretty comfortably on the freeway. The not good... I own the sedan and am not really fond of the design. To me it looks like a hoopty. It is slow to go and stepping on the gas reminds me a of the old Beetle. While it is pretty comfortable on the freeway, wind can really affect it (especially head winds). The car just can't carry very much... 2 guys with golf clubs or bulky boxes can give you fits. Sometimes I feel like I can't carry a hamster, so that is why I bought a truck. I would like the gas tank to be bigger (8 gallons is not enough). The computer connection is ok, but is not very up to date. The Bad.... The radio interface is BAD. I mean it is REALLY BAD to use. I HATE it and on a scale of 10, I would give it a one only because it actually does work. Did a junior high student design this thing? The Mileage is Great. This was important in my decision and was worth it. Around town - 38mpg Freeway going 80 - 38/43mpg Freeway going 60 - 45/48mpg If I buy another one, It will be the hatchback with a 5 speed.

Awsome on fuel and best 5 speed I've driven.

This car is very fuel efficient and does have some pep in it after you put it in 5th gear. Comfortable seats lots of legroom everything is a very accessible for the driver and the front passenger. Not to mention it's got the bars on the sides of the doors for that extra protection.

It is what it is; Basic transportation.

Gets me from point A to point B. It's what I expected and am happy with it. I would buy it again but not the manual transmission. I put an automatic starter on it that works well; But cost me $625.00 to install and I had to search for someone even willing to install it. Works great ! It could use an armrest. I don't know why they didn't add that.

Incredibly fuel efficent

Well I got a 2019 mirage when my explorer got too expensive to drive to work. Now I dont care what anyone says mine gets 47 mpg on average. It can't climb a steep hill with out sounding like its pulling about 5 times its weight and it's about like driving a go cart also the back seats are just about useful. But the trunk is suprising big and it manages to be fun to drive I would take anything for my pip squeak of a car.

Already having issues!

I’ve had my car for 5 months, it only has 5000 miles, and it’s already giving me problems. There’s now been 3 occasions where my car wont start. It wont crank or anything. No check engine light or warnings. It’s been to the dealership service center 3 times, currently there now, and no issues have been found. It’s very frustrating! I’m officially over this vehicle.

Great little vehicle.

The Mirage is an excellent little car & it really is a shame so many professional reviewers are so hard on it. It’s quite & comfortable as a long distance commuter. I like it’s exterior & I have no idea what the reviewers have to xxxxx about where the interior is concerned. I really like it a lot because it still looks like a car & not the xxxx Space Shuttle. Build quality is quite good & it has no squeaks or rattles. It has every amenity I could possibly want. Admittedly first gear is kind of flat but, once you hit second it gets up & goes just fine. The fuel economy is stellar. I routinely get 45-47 mpg on the highway with the 5 speed. I wish I could comment on maintenance but, between Mitsubishi’s warranty & with how great my local dealership is, it really is a pleasure taking it in for its scheduled maintenance. But after the warranty is up, I imagine it’s going to be relatively easy to work on... there’s plenty of room under the hood to get at everything. As for reliability, I can’t specifically comment on this Mirage but, I’ve owned several Mitsubishi products over the years & they've all been just as reliable as any Toyota I’ve ever owned. So, I imagine I’ll be driving this puddle jumper for many years to come.

Great car for what you pay!

Purchased this as my first new vehicle ever! I've only driven pre 2000s vehicles my entire life so this has been a huge upgrade for me. Great standard features, and very quiet and comfortable compared to my older cars. Love the fuel economy and bluetooth connectivity. Def worth the small price tag for a reliable car and not to mention a 10 year 100k warranty.
