2001 Nissan Altima consumer reviews

Purchased car used in the spring of 2008 with about 85,000 miles. Now has 108,00 The only problem has been a wheel bearing that went, certainly normal wear and tear. I fully expect to get it to 200,000 or more. Awesome car

I got my 2001 used in 2005 with 38k mi. I have since put 100k on it. I had engine mounts replaced at 90k, water pump at 90k, and steering pump at 90k, but now that car has 138k and I have had zero problems. I've only done routine maintenance on it. Gas mileage is about 28-30 city/fwy and about 26 when I run the a/c. Paint is fading fast, but I park it in the sun all the time. Main complaint is the low front bumper. I've scraped and torn it up so much that it's not worth fixing any more.

My 2001 Nisssan Altima has never had a mechanical problem and currently has 81,100 miles. I have changed all fluids and filters myself according to the maintence manuals (factory) and have changed all belts once.. I have no complaints about this car purchased new in Mrach 2001.

This car is the most reliable car I've had. I love the fact that it has cruise control which really helps on gas cause I travel on the highway a lot. Another thing that is great about this car is that I have trunk access from inside the car which also makes for more trunk space when needed.

This is the most reliable car that I have ever owned. It gets good gas mileage and has been very reliable for me. I would recommend it to anyone!

The Altima is a nice vehicle. I have the GLE and it is like riding in luxury. When people get inside, they compare it to the Lexus IS300. It is very sporty like as well as luxurious.
